As a Physiotherapist I often hear the following from athletes: “I should probably stretch more”Which got me thinking about stretching vs mobility🤔 as athletes we often neglect both these areas which in return leads to injuries! Stretching is passive and the main goal is to lengthen muscles. Mobility is active - it builds strength and control through your full range of motion and is the biggest building block to prevent injury.Talking from experience and listening to feedback from my clients. I can assure you pilates gives you both. It’s not just about feeling loose - it’s about moving better, stronger and smarter.
