👟 Tekkie & Shoe Collection Point – Spreetshoogte Pass

Taking on Spreetshoogte Pass? We’ve got you covered.

If you’d like a more comfortable pair of shoes for the climb, you can drop off your tekkies at the start/finish at Nauams — simply place them in a bag clearly marked with your rider number.

How it works:
• Drop your shoes at the start
• Frank Bombosch will have them ready for you at the foot of Spreetshoogte Pass
• Swap into your tekkies for the climb
• Your cycling shoes will be transferred to the water point at the top
• Your tekkies will be brought back to Nauams after the event

One less thing to worry about — just focus on the climb 💪

Race day is almost here — here’s everything you need to know for 28 March 2026.

Nauams, Namibia

⏰ Event Schedule – Saturday, 28 March 2026

05:30 – Breakfast at Nauams
Light breakfast available: fruit, muffins, instant oats & coffee ☕

06:30 – Race Start
Early start to beat the heat 🌄

12:00 – Cut-Off at Solitaire
• Teams: Rider 2 may start at 12:00 if Rider 1 has not arrived
• Rider 1 may still complete their stage to Solitaire

17:00 – Official Event Cut-Off
Riders not finished may still complete the route

17:30 – Prize Giving & Lucky Draw
Awards, a few fun fines, and great prizes — don’t miss it 🎉

18:00 – Lekker Draai Sokkie
Dinner, social & dancing 💃🕺

Relax, settle in and fuel up before race day
