Namibia’s U-23 national team has been handed a challenging first-round tie against neighbours Angola in the CAF qualifiers for the 2028 Olympic Games.

The two sides are scheduled to meet during the first-round window from 28 September to 6 October 2026, with the tie to be decided over two legs.

Namibia will be hoping to make a strong start and secure a place in the next round of the qualifying competition.The second round of the qualifiers will follow in November with the winner of the first round set to play Congo.
