The Namibia National Team competes under the national emblem and represents Namibia in official international test rugby. The Welwitschias Invitational XV is a separate representative team name used for specific competitions, tours, and development fixtures.
For the upcoming matches, the Welwitschias Invitational XV will include a number of new and emerging players as part of the Union's rebuilding and player development strategy, aimed at expanding the national player pool and strengthening depth for future international campaigns.
