The NUST Staff Sports Association (NSSSA) proudly emerged as the inaugural champions at the Inter‑University Games hosted by UNAM this past weekend. Our exceptional athletes demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and excellence across multiple disciplines, securing top honors and reinforcing NUST’s commitment to sporting excellence.

Today the Champions are playing against Young Generation at Dawid Bezuidenhout High School Stadium. So far so Good

After a fierce battle, our netball girls finish strong in 4th place. 💪 It wasn’t easy, we entered Day 3 as the team to beat, and they gave it their all until the very end. Proud of the fight, proud of the spirit. Well done, true Nustodians! 🔥🏐

Day 1 Highlights , Public Enterprises Games 2026, Rundu

NUST athletes have shown incredible spirit and skill, qualifying across multiple sports codes! Here’s how we stand after today’s action:

Pool table – Leading the table!
Netball – 2 games, 2 wins!
Darts – 2 wins out of 3, sitting 2nd in the group.
Soccer – 1 win + 1 draw, top of the table. Early game tomorrow to wrap up group stages!
Volleyball – 3 clean‑sheet wins out of 4, narrowly lost one 2:1.
Athletics – Female Heat 3 – Strong 2nd place finish with impressive time.
Athletics – Male Heat 3 – Another solid 2nd place.
Tug of War – 3 wins out of 4 pulls!

NUST is off to a phenomenal start , let’s keep the momentum going into Day 2! 💙💛
