A Special Visit: His Excellency Honours Team Namibia in Zambia
In a moment of great pride for Namibian handball, the Namibia Women's National Handball Team was honoured by a special visit from His Excellency Mr. Goms Menette, High Commissioner of Namibia to Zambia, during the team's participation in the IHF Women's Championship in Lusaka.
His Excellency's presence was a powerful reminder that Team Namibia carries the hopes of the nation with them, even far from home. His words of encouragement and support have inspired the players and technical team alike, reinforcing that their journey — representing a young, developing federation on the continental stage — is one the entire country stands behind.
The Namibia Handball Federation extends its sincere gratitude to His Excellency for taking the time to visit and uplift our women in blue, green and red. Moments like these strengthen the resolve of our athletes as they compete for a place in the All-Africa Games qualification.
Team Namibia. One Nation. One Team.
