Despite facing immense pressure, Namibia's U18 Men's Handball Team has delivered an outstanding performance, securing a place in the Finals of the IHF Nations Trophy Zone VI. Under the exceptional guidance of Coach Gerald and Coach Bock, the team has earned a Top 4 ranking among Africa's finest — a remarkable achievement in a highly competitive field. As champions now battle for gold, silver, and bronze facing Zimbabwe todat time 15h00 ,the nation stands firmly behind our U18 boys, proud of their journey and confident in the position they have already secured in African handball

The Namibia Handball Federation departs for Ondangwa today, where our U18 and U20 national squads will complete their final training camp in preparation for the IHF Men's Trophy 2026. The tournament will be held in Lusaka, Zambia, from 27 April to 3 May 2026.
We wish our young athletes every success as they represent Namibia on the international stage. 💪🇳🇦

The Wafa Wafa Tournament proved to be a resounding success, reflecting the growing unity and prominence of handball in the Khomas Region. DHPS claimed the top honours, with the Titans finishing as runners-up and the Central Team securing third place.
The officiating officials demonstrated commendable professionalism of international standard, contributing to a well-contested and orderly tournament. The Namibia Handball Federation looks forward to the next edition and acknowledges that securing adequate financial support will be a key priority in its planning.
The NHF extends its congratulations to all participating teams and encourages continued dedication to training and a deeper understanding of the rules of the game

Under the visionary leadership of NHF founder, Mr. Issy Nakamwe, the Namibia Handball Federation has achieved a remarkable milestone — uniting players across all racial backgrounds and all 14 regions of Namibia under one shared goal: to grow and develop the sport of handball at a national level and field a competitive team on the international stage.
Today, Namibia stands proudly ranked 4th in the Confederation of African Handball (CAHB), a historic achievement that marks a defining moment in the nation's sporting history.
As momentum continues to build, there is growing confidence that the Namibian national team has the potential to clinch a medal at the upcoming IHF Men's Trophy 2026 — a feat that would further cement Namibia's place among Africa's handball elite.
