Today we want to honour and appreciate Coach Pedro โ a leader who has poured three months of hard work, heart, and discipline into our boys. Thank you, Coach, for investing in their lives, pushing them to grow, and showing them what grit, commitment, and true sportsmanship look like. Your guidance has shaped not only their performance on the court but also their character off it. ๐๐ฝ๐
As we celebrate this incredible journey to the first-ever Unified 3v3 Basketball World Cup, we also recognise the importance of Coach Pedroโs presence and witness at this global event. The experience and insight he brings back will be critical in ensuring that basketball 3v3 continues to grow in Namibia and that even more exciting, competitive opportunities open up for our athletes.
He also had the opportunity to participate in a FIBA BASKETBALL FOR GOOD WORKSHOP AND A YOUNG ATHLETE DEMONSTRATION. All adding value to programs back in Namibia.
We are proud to announce that BAS will continue to support basketball competition management for Special Olympics Namibia, helping us strengthen our structures, elevate our events, and build a brighter future for unified sports in the country.

History has been made! Our team has won Silver in Division 2 at the first ever Unified 3v3 Basketball World Cup โ a truly remarkable achievement for Namibia! ๐
This moment is bigger than a medal.
It represents growth, courage, unity, and a new chapter for Unified Basketball in our country.
Our athletes and partners stood tall, played with heart, and showed the world what Namibia is capable of.
A huge thank you to Special Olympics International and Special Olympics Puerto Rico for hosting a fantastic event filled with learning, inspiration, and unforgettable experiences.
