CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW AND PUBLIC HEARING EXERCISE. DATED:30 July,2025.

In fulfillment of Democracy and inclusive governance
In fulfillment of legitimacy
In fulfillment of autonomy
In fulfillment of constitutional rights
In fulfillment of supremacy
It was on the 30/07/2025 that the NAPSS 7th Assembly seat with the entire congress men and women of the prestigious department of Political science of Akwa Ibom State University Chapter, in attendance were ,the NAPSS staff Adviser,the Faculty president, Departmental president, the Deputy senate president AKSU Senate,the chief supervisor, legal Adviser and many more personalities and members of the Napss Executive council and LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. Who came together for its constitutional review and public hearing exercise.
This exercise features, but is not limited to the following:
The following constitutional articles and sections
The General provisions
Supremacy of the constitution
Names, objectives, membership,logo and motto
Eligibility
Structure of the Executive council
Structure of the Legislative council
Representation in the Napss House
Election, zoning system/Grading
Senatorial Representation
Tenure of office/Resignation
Information,code of conduct and Federal character principle
Discipline
And the Napss Royalty council and Stakeholders forum as recommended during the process.
This exercise was conducted by the Napss 7th Assembly and presided by the Hon.Speaker ,Rt.Hon.Tee Jerry Barifodum and the chairman House committee on Constitutional Drafting and Amendment Rt.Hon.David Daniel.
Nevertheless, certain approvals were done during the deliberation,which shall be posted in due time.
