Team news: An update ahead of Brighton (a)
Arsenal Media 30 Sep 2021

Here’s our latest team news ahead of Saturday’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Granit Xhaka
Right knee. Further to injuring his right knee during Sunday’s match against Tottenham Hotspur, assessments and scans have confirmed that Granit Xhaka suffered a significant injury to his medial knee ligament.
A specialist consultation took place in London on Tuesday evening which has determined that Granit does not require surgery. Granit’s recovery and rehabilitation programme will start immediately and we are aiming for him to be back in action in approximately three months. Everyone at the club will now be supporting and working hard with Granit to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible.
All other players in the men’s first team squad are currently fit and available for selection.
As part of Premier League protocol, all members of our first team squad and support staff continue to be regularly tested for COVID-19.

The match, which will be behind closed doors, will be played as under:
Arsenal v Liverpool
Wembley Stadium

Arsenal should try as much as possible not be what the haters said they are. Consistency is the only head way to success. I predict Cardiff City 1- 3 Arsenal. Good luck gunners.
