Be honest.

If your salary, business income or regular cash flow stopped today, how long could you maintain your current lifestyle without borrowing money?

30 days?
3 months?
6 months?
Or just a few days?

This is why income is not the same as financial security.

You can earn ₦1 million a month and still be financially vulnerable if every naira already has somewhere to go.

Financial stability means building a cushion that gives you time and options when life happens.

That cushion could come from:
• An emergency fund
• Investments you can access when necessary
• Multiple income streams
• Keeping your lifestyle below your income
• Adequate insurance and protection

The goal isn’t to live in fear of losing your income, it is to be in a position where losing your income doesn’t immediately put you in debt.

So, if your income stopped today, how many months could you survive without borrowing?

Your child doesn’t need to earn money before they learn how to manage it.

Now is the perfect time to start teaching the money lessons that will shape how they earn, spend, save, invest and make financial decisions as adults.

Because one day, you won’t be there to make every financial decision for them.

Start teaching them now!

What is one money lesson you wish you had learned as a teenager?

Share it in the comments. Your answer could be the lesson another parent needs to teach their child. ❤️

The problem is that most people have no idea where to put that first ₦10,000.

Should you buy stocks?
Try a mutual fund?
Invest in dollars?
Use a money market fund?
And how do you know which platforms you can actually trust?

Also, one of the biggest mistakes you can make with money is keeping it in your account for years simply because you don’t know how to invest it.

You need to understand what you’re investing in, where to invest and what level of risk you’re taking.

That is why I created The ₦10,000 Investment Blueprint to answer those questions and give you the full understanding you need.

Inside, I break down 5 investment options you can start with ₦10,000, how they work, who they are suitable for, and what you need to know before putting your money in. Plus so many useful bonuses.

No complicated financial language.
No get-rich-quick promises.
No waiting until you “have enough money.”

Just practical information to help you take your first step into investing with more confidence.

And right now, you can get the complete guide for just ₦5,000.

If you’ve been saying “I want to start investing” but haven’t known where to begin, this is for you.

Comment KIT or BLUEPRINT and I will send you the link to get yours.

You don’t need to be an expert before you start investing.
You also don’t need millions to begin.

What matters is understanding your options, choosing what fits your goals and starting!

Treasury bills.
Mutual funds.
Stocks.
Real estate.

They all work differently, come with different levels of risk and serve different purposes.
If you are still confused about where to start or how each of these investments works, I’ve got you.

I break them down in simple terms on my YouTube channel: Finance with Anne, so you can learn, understand your options and make better investment decisions.

Go to my YouTube channel and start with the investment you want to understand better.

Don’t just pick an investment because everyone else is doing it. Understand it first.

Your money needs a job BEFORE you start spending it.

The moment your salary hits your account, you should already know:
🏠 How much is going towards rent
🍲 How much is for feeding
💡 How much is for bills
📈 How much you’re investing
🎉 And yes, how much you can freely spend

Because if you don’t tell your money where to go, it will disappear on things you didn’t plan for.

This is why I always say budgeting isn’t about restricting yourself. It’s about making sure your money is working towards the things that actually matter to you.

And you don’t have to keep all of this in your head.

My Complete Money & Budget Tracker helps you plan your income, track your spending, monitor your investments and stay accountable to your financial goals, all in one place.

If you’re serious about being more intentional with your money, this is a simple place to start.
Get your Money & Budget Tracker through the link in my bio or through this link: https://financewithanne.com/money-tracker
It comes with a full tutorial video on how to use it.

The life you want in 2036 is being built by the decisions you’re making today in 2026.

And honestly, I think we underestimate how powerful 10 years of consistent financial decisions can be.

Every month you chose to:

* Invest before spending everything.
* Increase your investments as your income grew.
* Reinvest your dividends instead of spending them.
* Learn more about money instead of relying on hearsay.
* Stay invested even when the market was uncomfortable.
* Choose long-term wealth over short-term pressure to “look rich.”

None of these decisions feels dramatic today.

But compound them for 10 years and the story can be completely different.

The question is: Are the financial decisions you’re making today taking you closer to the 2036 version of yourself you want to become?

If you had ₦10,000 or ₦100,000 extra every month for the next 10 years, would you rather invest it or use it to improve your lifestyle today?

Most people pay everyone else before they pay themselves.

Rent? Paid.
Bills? Paid.
Subscriptions? Paid.
Food? Paid.

Then whatever is left becomes your “savings” that’s if anything is left at all.

If you want to build wealth, you have to flip that habit.

Pay yourself first.

The moment your income comes in, move a percentage into investments or savings before spending on anything else. Treat your future self like the most important bill you have.

You don’t build wealth with leftovers. You build it with intention.

Even if it’s just 5% of your income today, start there. Your future self will thank you.

Tell me, how much of your income do you pay yourself first?

Sorry I’m posting this a little late 😅 but the August Federal Government Savings Bond is still open, and the rates are ok though they dropped a bit from what they gave us last month.

📌 2-Year Bond: 13.96% per annum
📌 3-Year Bond: 14.96% per annum

You lend money to the Federal Government, earn interest every 3 months and get your full capital back when the bond matures.

No daily market drama. No checking your phone every five minutes to see whether your investment has “crashed.” Just steady, government-backed returns.

The subscription window is still open but it closes August 7, 2026, so you still have a few days to decide.

And the minimum investment is just ₦5,000. So please don’t tell me you don’t have enough money to start investing.

If you have been asking, “Where can I put my money that is very safe and still earn returns?” this is worth considering.

You can subscribe through the Afrinvest 2.0 app or any of the approved stockbroking firms.

Drop your questions below 👇🏾 and I’ll answer them.
