The Nationwide League One 2026 season is set to roar back to life, as competition heats up in the nation’s grassroots football scene.
In the Group 32 Four Gwagwalada based teams: Like-Minds Football Club L, De-Royal Galaxy, Daniel Fc, and Neurospark Fc will battle alongside five other teams at the NAF Base Stadium for a place at the top of the group in the opening round.
With only one top spot up for grabs, expect intense clashes, rising talents on display, and high-stakes football as teams fight to keep their promotion dreams alive.

In honour of the unfortunate demise of Coach Meshach Olatunji (Alomo), the Gwagwalada Football Council hereby requests that all football clubs within Gwagwalada suspend all training sessions and matches with immediate effect until Tuesday, 31st March 2026.

This period is dedicated to mourning and paying our last respects to a devoted servant of the game whose contributions to grassroots football will never be forgotten.

Sheikh Hamdan FC have emerged winners of the Alhaji Baba Super 10 Ramadan Cup 2026 after a hard-fought victory over Bocknor Academy in a tense final.
It was a fierce and physical encounter, with Bocknor Academy reduced to nine men following red cards in each half. Despite the pressure and numerical advantage, Sheikh Hamdan FC had to dig deep to break the resistance.
The breakthrough came through Ibrahim, whose decisive strike proved to be the difference on the night. From that moment, Sheikh Hamdan showed resilience, composure, and championship mentality—holding firm until the final whistle.

The highly anticipated final pits Sheikh Hamdan FC, 2025 Gwagwalada League Champions against Bocknor Academy, 2023 Gwagwalada League and FA Cup champions. The THIRD PLACE match in the Alhaji Baba Super 10 Ramadan Competition will see Medical Strikers take on Babayaro FC. Both teams are eager to bounce back after semi-final defeats—Medical Strikers lost 2-0 to Sheikhandam FC, while Babayaro FC fell 1-0 to Bocknor Academy. The match is set for Saturday, 21st March 2026, at 1 PM at UATH.
