Not Every Victory Is Measured by a Medal. π³π¬ππ½ββοΈ
Today, we celebrate Mary Taiwo Osijoβnot because of where she finished, but because of the courage, discipline, and determination she displayed while proudly representing Nigeria on one of the biggest sporting stages in the Commonwealth.
Competing against some of the world's finest athletes is never easy. Yet Mary stepped onto that platform with confidence, carrying not just the weight on the barbell, but the hopes of a nation. She gave everything she had, fought through every lift, and reminded us that true champions are defined by their resilience, not just the colour of the medals they wear.
Every training session, every sacrifice, every early morning, and every challenge overcome has contributed to the athlete she is today. Results may not always reflect the countless hours of hard work behind the scenes, but dedication like hers never goes unnoticed.
Mary, Nigeria is proud of you. Your journey is far from over, and this competition is another stepping stone toward even greater achievements. Keep believing, keep lifting, and keep inspiring the next generation of Nigerian weightlifters.
The medals tell one story, but your commitment tells an even greater one.
π³π¬ Thank you for wearing our colours with pride. The future is bright, and we'll be cheering you on every step of the way.
