Prudential Sports Limited Fulfills Pledge to Gombe State Football Association

Prudential Sports Limited is championing grassroots football and youth empowerment across Gombe State and Nigeria.

As part of our N2,000,000 pledge announced at the 2025 Awards Ceremony for the 2026/27 State League season, we have delivered N1,280,000 to the Gombe State Football Association. These funds support the registration of State Division
1 teams as follows:
•Registration of 64 teams.
•N20,000 per team to cover fees and sustain competition.

For Division 2 teams, we are partnering closely with the Football Association to verify the official lists before releasing the remaining funds ensuring transparency, accountability, and precision at every step.

Prudential Sports Limited remains committed to uplifting grassroots football development in Gombe State and Nigeria at large.

We’re thrilled to celebrate the Gombe State Mini Marathon a fantastic initiative that’s inspiring our youth. A massive shoutout to the Gombe State Athletics Association and Gombe State Sports Commission for their outstanding efforts in making this happen.

GDSS Bolari East held a friendly football match on Thursday to commemorate the donation of sports equipment to the school by Prudential Sports Ltd, presented during the 2025 Prudential Sports Awards.

The match was organized by a member of the school staff and Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) referee, Haruna Isah Kalshingi, as part of efforts to promote sports development and unity within the school community.

Important Announcement from the Management of Prudential Sports Limited

On behalf of the Management of Prudential Sports Limited and our partners, this announcement is directed to the seven hundred and sixty (760) retired athletes of Gombe State and their defendants.

We wish to inform all individuals whose names appeared on the list of beneficiaries for the one-year free healthcare coverage that Prudential Sports Limited has fully met all the required obligations for this initiative. This includes the complete payment of seven million, six hundred thousand naira (₦7,600,000) to secure one year of free medical care for the beneficiaries and their families.

All beneficiaries are hereby notified that registration for the healthcare program for Gombe LGA will commence, God willing, on Tuesday, 23rd December 2025, at Gombe State Specialist Hospital, Gombe while other LGAs will commence on Thursday 25th December, 2025.

Time- 9:00am.

This exercise will be conducted in collaboration with the Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Agency (GoHealth).

The Sport Entrepreneur Award of the 2025 Prudential Sports Awards was today presented to the CEO of Doma United, Alhaji Suleiman Umar, at the Pantami Stadium, in recognition of his contribution and dedication to the development of sports in the Gombe state.
