Day 3 Results:

Bayelsa Blue Whales 37 – 40 Royal Aces

Dolphins 79 – 45 Nigeria Customs

MFM Queens 57 – 32 Titans

First Bank 66 – 35 Air Warriors

Following these results, Royal Aces, MFM Queens, First Bank, and Dolphins have advanced to the Final Four of the competition.

Day 2 of the 2025 NBBF Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball Premier League Final 8 delivered exciting action at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

It was a dominant day for the Atlantic Conference teams, who proved superior over their Savannah Conference counterparts in all four games.

Results:

Bayelsa Blue Whales 65 – 47 Air Warriors
Bayelsa’s relentless defense and fast breaks overwhelmed Air Warriors, sealing a convincing win.

MFM 78 – 42 Nigeria Customs
The defending champions, MFM, were ruthless on both ends of the court, showcasing why they remain title favorites with a commanding performance over Nigeria Customs.

Lagos, Nigeria – The 2025 Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball Premier League (ZBWBPL) Final 8 opened with fireworks at the National Stadium, Lagos, producing big wins, close encounters, and a major upset.

Defending champions MFM Basketball Club fell short in their first game, losing 41–51 to a determined Dolphins Basketball Club side. Despite flashes of brilliance, MFM could not withstand Dolphins’ relentless play, leaving the title holders under pressure heading into their next fixture.
