BREAKDOWN OF POCHETTINO'S NEWS CONFERENCE AHEAD OF SUNDAY'S CLASH WITH BOURNEMOUTH FC

*Enzo Fernandez fit after international duty, Caicedo will need to be assessed but should be fit too.

*Reece James' recovery is going "really well", he is "desperate" to play and is hoping to return before the next international break, Poch says.

*Spirit is good despite the defeat prior to the international break, Pochettino says. He adds that it's "a matter of time" before results improve

*Asked how it will feel next week when other teams begin their European campaigns and Chelsea are not involved, Pochettino says in a sense it is "better" because of the injuries the Blues have and the need to get players back. He adds that the aim is to make sure Chelsea are involved in Europe next season.

*Poch hits back when it's suggested that Nicolas Jackson was poor against Forest. He insists the striker did well, just needed to be more clinical and that "there is no doubt he is a fantastic player".

*The team in general are improving but just need to be better in front of goal, Poch says, and admits at times they need to be stronger defensively too. "We are playing well and showing everyone we can compete and dominate games."

*Poch insists he will not reassess his aims for the season. "We just need to win. It is too early to give up. Keep going and believe - even if we don't get the results we want.

*Pochettino insists Chalobah is in his plans and no-one will decide in such issues rather than him..
