Total fitness is a fitness program designed for the Body and Mind. It entails normal routine fitness sessions, cool off sessions and a short educative session (tips) that helps us understand our body and how it is connected to having a productive life.
BODY
Your body is not only what you are seeing with your eyes, it is a lot more! A lot of us have the wrong ideology about our body. A majority of people are only concerned about their physical appearance and hence spend a lot of money to cater for their outward appearance. There is nothing wrong with that, but the fact is that all the vitals that keep you alive, strong and able to do all you need to do is embedded in your inside, which unfortunately your eyes cannot see. The truth is that a lot of what is happening on the visible side of your body is tied to what is happening internally.
It took many years for you to look the way you do now, if you look at your picture at the age of ten and now, there has been a lot of growth and changes. Your physical appearance has changed, but even more importantly, all your internal organs have changed over the years. Now at this age, we all want to get a drastic change, so we can feel young and strong again; I must say that there is no quick fix to this, especially if you haven’t been living a healthy life. It took time for you to get to this stage, so it will also take some time for you to get back in the right shape. The good news is that it is not impossible.
MIND
The Mind is key to all we do; as we have discovered that the mind is the gateway to our body and spirit. The mindset in which we do all we do is key to how healthy we can live daily. Like the body, you need a healthy mind, cause in truth if your mind is not healthy, it’s a matter of time, your body will become unhealthy as well. Did you know you can exercise your mind? Give it strength to handle the pressures that will surely come. There are ways to exercise the mind, from reading of positive books, cultivating the habit of positive thoughts, deliberate recollection/reflection to playing of board games or mind stimulating games.
