Reading comments from the men that caused the sleepless nights of most women in marital crisis

I realized these men aren't preparing to do right by their wives.

Many women are living with their version of Frank Edoho.

Unkind, judgemental, uncaring, unrepentant, selfish husbands.

Who see no wrong in what they've done and will still do to you.

They believe their actions are justified because it is in a man's DNA.

They will get away with it because they are men.

And that’s the more reason I don’t like patriarchy.

It formulated a theory of no repercussions for men's irresponsibility and a multitude of repercussions for the same actions by women.

But all na hogwash.

I don't support cheating, but nothing will happen to Chike. His career will not tank.

They say nobody will invite him for wedding performances... you mean the weddings and marriages women fund?

Nigeria is not America.

It can only happen if all the married men cheating on their wives are first visited with whatever they wish for him.

The men are angry because for the first time, the woman in the middle of the whole saga is not left in tears like Annie Idibia, Chief Lawrence's wife, etc.

The same set of men that will be with their side chicks this weekend.

The good women are always taken for granted.

Be good, yes.

But be wise.

Has it really gotten to this?

I have always believed that both parties in a troubled marriage played a part in it.

But this morning, I just got off a session where, for the first time, I am hearing that the woman did everything right (this came from the man himself).

She did everything right, yet the marriage is heading for the rocks.

Kai!

The man’s behaviour and the external factors from his family are the cause of this marriage falling apart.

There are men who shouldn’t marry, and there are families no woman should marry into.

HER HUSBAND KEPT ACTING LIKE OTHER WOMEN WERE BETTER THAN HER.

She was the one funding the marriage.

She was the one caring for the children.

She was the one awake, worrying.

She even took care of his sick parents.

And those ones were still unkind to her.

Yet, every time, the man never acknowledged her efforts.

In fact, he told her he could have finer women if he wanted.

He said he would have 10 children with other women if he chose to.

Love should not constantly make you feel disposable, unwanted, or beneath other women.

5. RETHINK IF STAYING THERE IS STILL SERVING YOU.
Some women stay for years in environments that keep destroying their confidence, joy, peace, and sense of self.

Ask yourself honestly:
Do you want to grow old without truly experiencing love, peace, affection, emotional safety, and genuine partnership?

6. DON’T LOSE YOURSELF TRYING TO SAVE A MARRIAGE.

A marriage is important. But you matter too.

Some women have become so emotionally broken trying to hold on to men who keep reminding them that they are replaceable.

Momma, anybody can be replaced in a relationship, but not everybody can be valued.

And one of the saddest things in life is staying in a place where your sacrifices are ignored, your love is mocked, and your presence is taken for granted.

A man who truly values you does not constantly threaten your position in his life to control you emotionally.

Your worth did not reduce because somebody failed to appreciate you.

Do not let rejection make you abandon yourself.

Rise again. Build yourself again. Love yourself again.

Because sometimes, the woman a marriage tried to break up… becomes the woman who eventually shocks everybody with her growth, strength, peace, and success.

And remember that the greatest investment you will ever make is YOU.
