Back-to-Back Champions: CNS Spikers Rewrite Nigerian Volleyball History
The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Spikers Volleyball Club (Male) has once again affirmed its dominance in Nigerian volleyball by emerging Champions of the CGC Nigeria National Volleyball Premier League 2025, completing an impressive Back-to-Back title victory with an outstanding performance throughout the competition. Since their entry into the league system, the CNS Spikers have maintained a remarkable upward trajectory. From Division Two, where they recorded an unbeaten run, to Division One, where they also remained unbeaten for a significant period, the team consistently set a high competitive standard. Although they experienced their first defeat in 2024, the team showed exceptional resilience and championship mentality to still *emerge Premier League Champions in 2024,* reinforcing their status as a dominant force in Nigerian volleyball. In 2025, the team further rewrote history by becoming *two-time winners of the CGC National Volleyball League,* a clear testament to their consistency, depth, and technical excellence.
In the female category, the CNS Spikers Female Team has continued to show steady growth and competitiveness. They emerged *Champions of the Nigeria National Volleyball Premier League in 2023, finished *3rd place* in the CGC National Premier League 2024 edition, and rose again in *2025 to claim the position of 1st Runner-Up*. This progressive improvement reflects the club’s strong development structure, commitment to nurturing talent, and long-term vision for sustained success across both teams. These collective achievements underscore the club’s disciplined management, effective coaching, and unwavering commitment to excellence. The CNS Spikers Volleyball Club has not only raised the competitive bar in Nigerian volleyball but has also established itself as a benchmark for consistency, resilience, and continuous improvement.
