The Management of Ekiti Queens FC has officially declared the commencement of the club’s end-of-season break for players following the conclusion of the 2025/2026 football season. The break is scheduled to begin from Thursday, May 14, 2026 and will run through Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

The management stated that the decision is aimed at giving players adequate time to rest, recover and reconnect with their families after a demanding and competitive campaign.

The period will also allow the management to properly evaluate the season and prepare strategically for the next football calendar.

Players have been advised to maintain discipline, stay physically fit and adhere to individual fitness programmes during the break period.

The club emphasized the importance of professionalism and readiness ahead of resumption for pre-season activities.

The management further expressed appreciation to the players, coaching staff, supporters, stakeholders and the government of Ekiti State for their unwavering support throughout the season.

Ekiti Queens fc remains committed to building a competitive and formidable side capable of achieving greater success in subsequent campaigns.

Details regarding pre-season schedules will be communicated in due course.
