The Pressure paid of in the 19th minute as the Kwara Ladies fell to a lone goal.
The 19th minute goal opened the goal gate for the Asaba Side as Chisom Nwachukwu and Owoeye Temilope registered their names on the score sheet to end the first forty five minutes on a 0-3 score line.

"Super Sam Sodje has always been a friend to the team so we promised we will win for him today. We dedicate this victory to him, not leaving out our coach who motivated us with financial promise on each goal scored."
"The race is getting tougher so we will continue to give our best at every point in time. We thank the Delta State Government via the Sports Commission for the support thus far. We will pay back with better results."
