In Edo State there are many youths who want to defy the challenges associated with the world of today where unemployment and hardship has reduced the youths to the level of desperation. Most of them who have lost hope have buried their talents and have indulged in drug abuse, prostitution, gangsterism and banditry, and some have even risked their lives through the dangerous exodus to Europe and other parts of the world in the search for green pastures and better livelihoods at all cost. Indeed idleness breeds crime and numerous malpractices that can only lead to the failure of the individual, families and their communities.

OUR MISSION:
-To create opportunities for kids to be active, be fit and be healthy.
-Bring youth close together through common interest in sportsmanship and discipline and love of sport.
-To teach sportsmanship, teamwork and accountability, build character and discipline and love of sport.
Remove economic barriers to participate in youth sport.
To encourage the Handball players to have respect for the game, others and themselves.
To cub social vices among youths.
Our Association seeks to offer a challenging competitive and educational program that emphasizes the importance of Community, honesty, integrity and other “life lessons/Values” through Sports.
The Hen-Ebe Academy training centre as an offshoot of Edo State Handball Association is a non-profit venture, whose mission is to reach children and youth at the grassroots and harness their potentials, equipping them with necessary skills in Handball. Thus raising future Handball Players to represent the State and Country at large.

This training centre also served as a Nursery for nurturing young sportsmen and women for the National team.
Therefore if is our utmost desire, the academy is adequately equipped and necessarily sponsorship to attend this national competition

Days of training and training centre is idia college Tuesday 2:30pm -4:30pm
Thursday 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Friday 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Saturday 8:30am – 12noon
