Match Report: IDC FC vs Trade Fair United FC
Date: 3rd September, 2025
It was a tough outing for Trade Fair United FC as they fell narrowly to IDC FC in a keenly contested encounter that ended 1–0.
The only goal of the game came in the 25th minute when IDC capitalized on a rare defensive lapse to take the lead. Despite the early setback, Trade Fair United responded with determination and intensity, dominating much of the possession and creating several clear cut opportunities.
A golden chance to level the score came in the 38th minute when Trade Fair United won a penalty. Unfortunately, the spot kick was missed, leaving the scoreline unchanged and adding to the frustration of the boys.
The second half saw relentless pressure from Trade Fair United, who created over 15 scoring chances. However, IDC’s goalkeeper was in inspired form, pulling off save after save, while their defenders stood resolute, blocking shots and clearing danger at every turn.
In the end, it was not for the lack of effort but sheer misfortune in front of goal that cost Trade Fair United the game. The boys left everything on the pitch, showing fight, creativity, and resilience, even if the result didn’t reflect their dominance.
Full-time: IDC FC 1–0 Trade Fair United FC
