BOMADI LGA FOOTBALL TEAM DEFEAT PATANI LGA 4–2 AT SHERIFF JNR. OBOREVWORI UNIFICATION CUP 2026
The Bomadi LGA Football Team yesterday delivered a commanding performance at the Osubi Field, defeating Patani LGA Football Team 4–2 in the Delta South Qualifiers of the Sheriff Jnr. Oborevwori Unification Cup 2026.
Bomadi showcased attacking brilliance, tactical discipline, and excellent teamwork throughout the encounter, dominating key moments of the game and securing a well-deserved victory.
The victory sees Bomadi LGA advance to the semi-final stage of the competition, with their next match scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 10th June, 2026
The team also expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, for his unwavering support, encouragement, and commitment towards the development of football in the local government area.
Speaking after the match, Head Coach Okiki Musampa commended the players for their determination and collective spirit.
