Meet Hon. Amb. Abideen Adam, he was born to the noble family of Mal. Adamu and Halima Adamu of Toro LGA, Bauchi State on the 15th of June, 1995. He later relocated to the FCT in 2004 and have lived there from then till date.

●He attended Wesley Nursery and Primary School Abuja where he attained his first school leaving certificate.

●He further attended the Government Secondary School, Nyanya and Liz Dav Academy Abuja, where he attained his JSCE and SSCE respectively.

● In 2015, he furthered his education where he enrolled into the prestigious Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi where he attained his first degree in Estate Management and Property Valuation.

While in school, Abideen Adam notably served as his departmental President and later served as the Speaker of the Student's representative assembly in his Faculty amongst other leadership positions held.

●Abideen has also been a youth leader in several youth-based organisations;
- He served as Ambassador to Bauchi South Senatorial District under the platform of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria-NYAN.

- Served as the Nigeria National Chapter President of the Unite2030 Changemaker community, a worldwide community of changemakers recognised by the United Nations and whose headquarters is in the United States.

- Abideen Adam later joined active politics where he started as a local government party chairman of the African Action Congress - AAC.

- He later rose to the level of a state party secretary of the African Action Congress and served as its interim National Secretary during one of its National Executive Council meetings held in Abuja 2021.

- Abideen Adam later defected to Labour Party and contested against APC, PDP and other parties during the 2023 general elections to represent and serve the good people of Lame Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly.

●He is the CEO of Zhain Real Estate Limited based in Abuja.

ACTIVITIES / EVENTS IN THE ENUGU WATER FESTIVAL 2023

1. CREATIVE ARTS/WATER PRODUCT EXHIBITION
The Creative Arts Competition: It is meticulously crafted to unveil the potentials of our young and upcoming artist who are into paintings, spray painting, sculpture and drawings. Interested contestants are to make creative illustrations that captures water histories across various different cultural backgrounds in Enugu State and the deadly disadvantages of water scarcity in a community or state. Each work of art should convey strong message to discourage sabotage, vandalism, theft of water facilities and open defecation which causes water pollution and promote great values for water resources. Contestants stand chances to win cash and other prizes including awards. The winners of this contest will be signed to notable companies/organizations as brand ambassadors.

Water Product Exhibition: Is created to offer opportunities to those into water-based products and services including water engineering, water equipment manufacturers, etc, to showcase their products to attract new clients, contracts, and sell or introduce their products and services.
N5,000 Registration Fee applies. Exhibition Space, depending on size; is between N50,000 and N200,000 per day. Special space order is by negotiation. (Exhibition Starts on Friday 17th and ends on Thursday 23rd Nov., 2023) Note: Limited Space available! Spaces will be allotted on first come – first served basis.

2. BEAUTY PAGEANT
We intend to showcase the beauty of water and its influence on the appearance and intellectual capacity of a young lady that will win the beauty pageant. The beauty Pageant is carefully designed to depict the various applications of water in service to humanity. The categories for the various beauty contests include:
(a) Miss Enugu Water Festival: This festival is a celebration of Water Resources and restoration of pipe-born water in Enugu State. Miss Enugu Water Festival is therefore an embodiment of success, joy, beauty, wisdom and creativity. It is a face that will tell the story of the past and connect us with the present and future of the festival.
(b) Face of Peter Mbah Water Project: The Peter Mbah Water Project is a humanitarian project that puts humanity above any other thing. It is a face that will portray compassion, intelligence, beauty and love for humanity.
(c) Miss Irrigation: This category of beauty contest will depict and showcase the rich agricultural endowments and the impact of water in agricultural revolution and sustainability.
(d) Miss Water Works: An energetic African warrior beauty princess whose strength of character, personality is admirable for the work of providing affordable and portable water for the ordinary citizens. She will be an embodiment of charisma, skill and diligence in honor of those who staked their lives in the field to make water available to their respective communities and other places where water is in scarcity or bad condition.
Contestants stand chances to win cash and other prizes including awards. The winners of the various beauty pageant categories will be signed to notable companies/organizations as brand ambassadors.

The water conference is our signature of commitment to engage resourceful professionals within and outside Nigeria to give participants the opportunity to learn, exchange views and interact on water, sanitation and health concerns. It will broaden minds and enable participants gain new experiences on various aspects of water services. Participants will be provided with conference/workshop materials and will be awarded with participation certificates.

4. WATER LIFE MUSIC CONCERT
Music has a lot of power and message. It is an essential tool to drive home our message, draw inspiration and to crown the celebration of the in its fullness, with DORIMA - Song of victory and celebration as our lead.

The Water Life music concert will engage our brothers and sisters, people with the passion for music, upcoming artistes, to tell the world stories about Enugu water "Mmiri Enugu", the community and the rich cultural heritage surrounding various water bodies in Enugu State through music entertainment. The Water life music concert will bring together the big and upcoming artistes to the stage and offer to raise the emerging artistes through a music talent hunt competition.

6. WATER TOURISM
This aims at touring to see different water bearing rocks, water board, spring waters, water falls, ponds, lakes, rivers and other historic water locations in Enugu State. Tourists will be provided with tour guide instructors and materials and will be awarded Water Tourism Certificates

7. WATER HEROES AWARD
This is one of the most important activities of this Enugu Water Festival. There are men and women that gave their lives to ensure that their host communities, state, and other places have safe drinking water, especially areas where water is really difficult to find. Such people deserve to be given meritorious award for both those alive, and a posthumous award for the deceased ones. This will bring the Enugu Water Festival 2023 to a memorable end on November 25th, 2023.

HOTEL / ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION
We are partnering with hotels and guest houses to provide all classes of accommodations for our prospective participants and guests, especially those coming from outside Enugu State and other countries to experience Enugu State, through the Enugu Water Festival.
Note: Participants are to pay ahead of time for their rooms and other reservations to be made on time to avoid disappointment.

TRANSPORTATION:
To ensure ease of movements for our participants, we will engage digital city transport service providers to carry around our participants within Enugu State only for the purpose of the Enugu Water Festival 2023.

Peter Mbah Water Project Volunteers officials paid a courtesy call to Enugu State Primary Health Care Development Agency

The PMWPV Officials also visited the office of the Honorable Commissioner for Health and the Head Administrator, Enugu State Hospital Management Board.

There will be need for the availability of clean pipe-borne water in every medical and health service centers in Enugu State and the Peter Mbah led administration is focused in achieving that.
