YOUR HEALTH MATTERS TOO 🩺❤️
Sometimes, we are so busy taking care of everything else that we forget to take care of ourselves.
We take care of our families.
We meet deadlines.
We serve in church.
We pursue our dreams.
We show up for others.
But somewhere along the way, we begin to ignore the body God gave us.
We ignore the tiredness.
We postpone that medical check-up.
We survive on little sleep.
We eat whatever is convenient.
We tell ourselves, “I’ll take care of myself later.”
But your health matters too.
The Bible reminds us:
“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you…?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19
Taking care of your health is not vanity.
It is stewardship.
Rest when your body needs rest.
Eat well when you can.
Stay physically active.
Pay attention to changes in your body.
Take preventive health checks seriously.
Protect your mental and emotional wellbeing.
And when something doesn’t feel right, seek appropriate medical care.
Faith and healthcare are not enemies.
You can pray and see a doctor.
You can trust God and take your medication as prescribed.
You can believe for healing and make healthy choices.
Sometimes, caring for the life God has given you means taking the next responsible step.
And remember:
You don't have to wait until you are seriously ill before you start caring about your health.
A healthier life is built through small, consistent choices.
Drink some water. 💧
Get enough rest. 😴
Move your body. 🚶🏽♂️
Eat nourishing food. 🥗
Take time to breathe. 🕊️
Check on someone you love. ❤️
And don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” — 3 John 1:2
Take care of yourself—not because you are afraid of tomorrow, but because the life you have today is a gift from God.🙏🏽❤️
Share this with someone who needs the reminder today. ❤️
