FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup are progressing smoothly, insisting the tournament will deliver an “unforgettable experience” for fans across the world.

The global football showpiece will be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, with less than a month to go before kick-off across the expanded 104-match format.

According to a post obtained from FIFA’s website on Thursday, Infantino said, Preparations are going actually extremely well and the excitement is really building.

He adds that the scale of preparation across all host cities reflects the importance of the tournament.
