ESFEST 10.0 – Event Description
ESFEST (Eggon Sports Festival) is a community-driven sports and culture festival celebrating its landmark 10th anniversary in 2026. Rooted in unity, talent development, and cultural pride, the festival uses sport as a tool to engage, empower, and connect communities.
This year's celebration builds up through a Novelty Games Phase 2, featuring:
Football: Lafia Wolves FC vs Heartbeat FC
Basketball: Heat Warriors BC vs Stan-Leopard BC
These matches serve as a curtain-raiser, generating excitement and community involvement ahead of the main event.
Participation Registration opens October 1st, 2026, welcoming teams, individuals, and groups to be part of the festival's activities.
The main event, ESFEST 10.0, will hold from November 26th–28th, 2026, marking a decade of impact with a grand celebration of sport, culture, and community empowerment.

On the football pitch, Lafia Wolves FC will lock horns with Heartbeat FC in what promises to be a fiercely contested clash between two sides eager to set the tone for ESFEST 10.0. Meanwhile, basketball fans can look forward to an electric showdown as Heat Warriors BC takes on Stan-Leopard BC, with both squads bringing energy, skill, and community pride to the court.
These novelty games are more than friendly competition — they are a rallying call, uniting communities through sport and reminding everyone that ESFEST has always been about connection, culture, and celebration.
Registration Opens October 1st
As excitement builds, organizers have announced that Participation Registration officially opens on October 1st, 2026, inviting individuals, teams, vendors, and community groups to be part of this historic milestone.
The Main Event: November 26–28, 2026
The festivities will culminate in the grand celebration of ESFEST 10.0, running from November 26th to 28th, 2026 — ten years of impact, unity, and growth for the Eggon community and beyond.
