Fifteen National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have reportedly been kidn@pp€d by gvnm€n in Kogi State while returning from their orientation camp in Bayelsa State.

The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, along the Ofu/Itobe–Onicha-Igo axis in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The corps members, identified as participants in the 2026 Batch B Stream II, were reportedly travelling to Abuja in a Peace Mass Transit bus, number 2826, after completing their orientation exercises in Bayelsa State.

According to reports, the vehicle was ambvshed by gvnm€n, with the driver reportedly sustaining serious injvries and receiving medical attention.

The 15 corps members listed on the bus manifest were allegedly taken into the forest by the att@ck€rs.
