If I don't feel confident about my body, I'm not going to sit at home and feel sorry for myself and not do something about it. It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Dance101 : stretching properly
Learning how to stretch properly can not only improve flexibility but prevents soreness and injury. It is a vital skill to learn and part of your basic knowledge as a dancer. Warm up and move through stretches quicker before dancing. But the best time to really work on flexibility is after a workout or rehearsal. When your body is already warm. That's when you should hold stretches for longer time increments.. Get your kids, family and your team to work today..

Dancing makes you smarter
The 21-year study of senior citizens, 75 and older, was led by the Albert Einstein college of Medicine in new York City, funded by the National Institute of Aging and published in the New England Journal of Medicine. According to the study :
Reading reduces dementia by 35%,
Doing cross puzzles at least 3days a week reduces dementia by 47%,
Dancing frequently reduces dementia by 76%..... Dancing also reduces stress and depression, increases energy and serotonin, improves flexibility, strength, balance and endurance,. Dance101 : "Just dance."
The first time I've really seen this phrase repeatedly emphasized was years ago by Buddha stretch . This was during a time when dance forums were a popular platform to discuss dance - as a result, it developed a lot of over-thinkers (me included). Back then, I didn't fully know what he meant. How do you "just dance?" What about vocabulary, style, ex*****on, etc? It took me years to realize what he meant. Teaching and learning dance may get pretty scientific, but in the end, dancing is not about consciously repeating the stuff you did at practice, but about giving your full attention to the music and letting your body respond instinctively to it. Practice is the key to learning movements, but your soul is the key to dance. So how long has it been since you've been able to "just dance?"......" jardy Santiago"

As a beginner you face many challenges in learning freestyle. There's getting accustomed with the water, learning the actions of the stroke, learning how to breathe and very possibly overcoming fear of the water. Don't worry, that's normal!
As swimming coaches we teach the basics of freestyle to novice swimmers every day. Overcoming those challenges is never easy but with a little determination and with our knowledge and methods you're going to crack it for sure.
