Brief Background

The Shimo Sports Competition is organized in loving memory of my late mother, Mrs. Shimo Ukari. The competition is a tribute to her life, legacy, and the values she represented. Through this event, we aim to keep her memory alive by bringing athletes and sports lovers together, promoting unity, sportsmanship, talent development, and creating opportunities for people to pursue and succeed in their chosen careers.

Flight Transport Limited

The participation and support of Flight Transport Limited is also an opportunity to appreciate and honour Mr. Atoo Andiir for his outstanding commitment to supporting sports and helping people pursue and succeed in their chosen careers.

His good works in Benue State and Nigeria at large continue to inspire young people, encourage athletes, create opportunities, and contribute to the growth and development of sports.

The Shimo Sports Competition therefore celebrates not only the memory of Mrs. Shimo Ukari, but also individuals who continue to make meaningful contributions to the development of sports and the empowerment of people in Nigeria.
