A hard truth about careers in Nigeria today:

Many professionals are preparing for jobs that are slowly disappearing.

Today at the TH 2026 Economic Summit in Lagos, I spoke about future-proofing careers in Nigeria’s digital economy.

And one message resonated strongly with the audience:

The future of work will not reward the most qualified.
It will reward the most adaptable.

Across sectors like Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Technology, Financial Services, and the Creative Economy, employers are now looking for people who combine:

• Digital skills
• Data thinking
• AI awareness
• Business understanding
• Strong human skills

In other words:

Hybrid professionals will dominate the future workplace.

Degrees are important.

But skills are the new job security.

Let me ask you a simple question:

If the job market changed dramatically in the next 3 years…

I crossed the finish line today… but I couldn’t stop thinking about the children. 🏅

10KM at the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

The cheers were loud.
The medal is heavy.
The body is tired.

But my heart is full.

Because every kilometre I ran was for a child who did not choose their circumstances.

Some children are not asking for luxury.
They are asking for a chance.

A chance to sit in a classroom.
A chance to learn.
A chance to dream without interruption.

And to the children whose names we may never know, but whose futures we can change.

This is bigger than a race.

I am running 10KM at the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon to raise ₦10,000,000 for children who deserve access to education.

🎉 I DID IT! FIRST-EVER HALF MARATHON COMPLETED 🏅🏃‍♂️💜

Today, I pushed my mind, my body, and my purpose to a new level, and I’m grateful to announce that I completed my first-ever Half Marathon (21km)!

✨ 2026: Our Year of Balance, Growth, and Scale ✨

As I reflect and look ahead, one word keeps surfacing clearly for me: balance.

Not hustle without rest.

Not growth without structure.

Not scale without purpose.

2026 is our year to:

✅ Build sustainably, not exhaustively

✅ Grow intentionally, not accidentally

✅ Scale with clarity, systems, and grace

This scripture anchors my conviction for the year ahead:

“And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.” ~ Jeremiah 30:19 (KJV)

Whether you are leading people, building a business, navigating your career, or redefining your personal life - my hope is that 2026 brings you alignment, expansion, and impact without burnout.
