Calcium is responsible for strengthening bones and teeth, regulating heart functioning, blood clotting, transmission of nervous system message,enzyme function.
Calcium Sources include:
A. Breakfast cereals, fruit juices, bread, some plant-based milks.
B. Snacks like Almond Nuts.
C. Sardines and canned salmon (bones included)
D. Vegetables: Broccoli, collards and spinach
E. Milk, yoghurt, cheese and buttermilk.
F. Supplements.
It is better to get calcium from food than supplements.
