Boxing, one of humanity's oldest sports, has roots dating back over 4,000 years to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Early depictions of fistfights were found in Egyptian tombs, and by 688 BC, it became an Olympic sport in ancient Greece, where fighters used leather straps to protect their hands. 🏺⚔️
