Dear Youth,
First off, I want to tender an apology for the way Christ was introduced to many of us. For a lot of people, Christ was presented like politicians who reward loyalty with positions, titles, wealth and massive bank alerts.
But in truth, Christ is not all of that. He is far greater than that. Follow me carefully please.
Iāve seen people preach in buses and public spaces that once you come to Christ, all your worries disappear and life becomes easy with no obstacles. But letās face reality once and for all, that is not true. Even in John 16:33, Jesus said:
āIn this world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.ā
It never says we wonāt go through hard times. The only guarantee is that we would overcome.
One genuine thing Iāve come to understand about temptations, tribulations, hatred, peer pressure and addictions is that they sharpen us into the exact person God wants us to become.
There are many situations in my life now that when I look back, I just say, āGod, thank You for not answering my prayers back then.ā Has that ever happened to you too?
I see a lot of youth handling heavy funds that our parentsā generation never dreamt of, and I also see how the devil creeps into their lives through drugs, smoking, po*******hy, sexual immorality and all kinds of addictions. Honestly, I donāt completely blame them because the way Christ was introduced to us had a lot of faults in it.
Oh yes, Iāve been there before too. Thinking that once I serve God, Iād automatically become the next Dangote or Elon Musk. But then I woke up to a reality:
You have to be diligent, consistent and persistent in your work.
You have to think smart and move ruggedly.
You must take risks.
You must build relationships and networks.
Growing up, I didnāt know these things. I thought God would just come down and magically do everything for me. But my hopes were shattered when none of those things were happening.
That was when I had to go deeper into scripture, seek mentors and role models, and truly study what it takes to grow and become responsible.

Today, the 17th of May, I celebrate my biological father, The Rev. Michael OMOLEWA ā a man whose values and vision have always been to see the world bow to the knowledge and love of Christ, freely given to everyone hungry for more of God.
I have seen you hurt, insulted, and humiliated by people you gave your life to serve. People who took your presence away from us, your children, and still turned against you when you needed them most. Yet through it all, Daddy, you kept working, praying, sweating, and sowing into lives relentlessly. I know that God will surely reward every labor of love.
Raising three strong boys who are now married, and a daughter preparing to join the married club ā with none becoming a nuisance to society ā is a testimony of Godās faithfulness upon your life, sir. The values you instilled in us continue to speak loudly. None of your children smoke, drink, or club, and that alone is a huge victory.
Even after leaving home, we recreated the principles and disciplines you taught us day and night. Through every high and low, those teachings shaped us into a force to be reckoned with.
Daddy, you have truly won. You won in fatherhood, in service, in sacrifice, and in legacy. And surely, you will reap the fruits of every seed you planted.
You know how deeply I love you personally.
Happy Birthday, Daddy. ā¤ļø

STORY TIME!! ā¤ļø
Late last year, my wife and my little princess started this sweet tradition of waiting behind the door to āscareā me when I get back from work šā¦ and honestly, itās been one of the best parts of my day.
Most times, I already know theyāre there because my princess canāt hold back her excitementāher giggles give her away every single time š„¹
But one day, something different happenedā¦
My cousin got home almost the same time I usually do. Princess heard the door, got all excited, jumping and giggling, thinking her Daddy was back. Only to realize⦠it wasnāt me š
She burst into tears. Real tears.
My wife tried to comfort her, but seeing her baby cry like that⦠she started crying too.
Then I walked in and met both of them in that emotional moment. When I heard what happened, I wonāt lie⦠it hit me deep.
In that moment, I felt truly LOVED. Not because of anything money can buy, but because my presence actually means something.
Men, donāt let your jobāor anything elseāreplace the impact of your presence in your family.
Nothing beats being there.
Proud girl dad, and I love every bit of it ā¤ļøšØāš§āØ
