Bayanda Walaza 🇿🇦 stormed to an equal PB of 9.89s (+0.6) to win the men’s 100m at the Serbia Athletics Meeting.

Walaza was in a class of his own, leading the field from start to finish as Kadrian Goldson 🇯🇲 took second in 10.04s and Jerome Blake 🇨🇦 finished third in 10.06s.

Abdul-Rasheed Saminu 🇬🇭 also impressed, clocking 10.11s for fifth.

Another huge statement from the South African sprint star.

David Udoh 🇳🇬 made his second appearance for Team Nigeria, competing in the men’s 400m and mixed relay at the World U20 Championships.

The Delta state base athlete boasts a personal best of 46.62s, continuing to build his experience on the national stage.

Udoh is a 2x Youth Games Champion and reigning NDDC games champion with the Intermediate Games just around the corner, he is certainly one to watch.

With his championship experience and impressive 400m credentials, David Udoh is a strong medal prospect for Team Delta at the upcoming Intermediate Games.

The future is bright for this young quarter-miler. 🇳🇬

Edo State based athlete, Becky Ebiyadi 🇳🇬 made her World U20 Championships debut for Team Nigeria in Oregon, gaining valuable experience on the global stage.

She also played an important role in Nigeria’s women’s 4x400m relay team, helping the quartet book a place in the final, where they finished 8th in 3:36.89.

With apersonal best of 53.85s in the 400m and the Intermediate Games around the corner, Ebiyadi has every opportunity to continue improving her times and challenge for a place on the medal table.

Her journey is only beginning, and the next chapter could be even faster. 🇳🇬
