What is the OPMSL?
The OPMSL is conceived of as a league for shooters who want to test and demonstrate their abilities under the stresses and constraints of a more realistic equipment loadout. Operator, Scout and Veteran divisions are the primary competitive tiers while Recruit and Cadet are introductory levels for shooters who have not yet made the investments in equipment but wish to participate. Besides being required to carry all of your match ammunition, equipment, and water with you while competing, other deviations from more common competitive shooting include penalizing shooters for intentionally wasting ammunition and discarding magazines, and considering dropped ammunition to be lost for the entire match.
