🚨 Burnley have won a damages case against Everton after suing them for breaching PSR rules.

Everton has been ordered to pay Burnley a record compensation fee, as called.

Burnley due around £35m with interest on top having originally sought over £50m.

Everton were deducted 10 points for a PSR breach in 2023, a punishment that was later reduced to six points.

During the 2021/22 PSR cycle in question, Burnley were relegated to the Championship, and successfully argued they would have stayed up had the deduction been applied to the season in question.

Everton will appeal.
