Your connection to the divine is forged and deepened like any other relationship in your life.
It takes time, presence, devotion, communication…
I hear so many people say, “I just don’t feel connected.”
And they so deeply want to feel that spiritual connection.
But the truth is, as I see it, most people just aren’t making space in their lives for it. Their actions are not lining up with their desire.
Your connection to your spiritual life, to your spiritual self—is a relationship like any other.
So think of the close relationships in your life…
What keeps them alive and well?
Do you reach out?
Do you invite them in?
Do you open your heart?
Do you listen?
Do you make space for connection?
All the qualities of a healthy relationship… right?
It’s the same thing with Spirit.
The more time and energy you bring to your spiritual life, the more you will feel that connection, and the more it will come alive for you.

11 years ago today, I became a mom, and set off on a new chapter. 5:18 on 5/18.
I still sometimes marvel at the word mom.
“Mom.”
Wait… that’s me?
I also marvel at the miracle of birth.
I was blessed to have a home birth. It was intentional—a conscious decision we made. I say blessed because I know for sure it doesn’t always work out that way. It doesn’t always go according to plan. You know, we plan, God laughs? But in this case, it did. And I will never forget it.
It was the most physically painful, yet also one of the most powerful and empowering experiences of my life. The kind of experience that brings you to your knees. The kind that pushes you far beyond where you think you can go.
It was sacred, mystical, and otherworldly.
Yet also, of course, intensely physical… primal.
It had the feeling of death, it had life.
It had it all.
I’m always drawn back to the analogy of birth for what is currently happening in our world.
We are in the birth canal — individually, collectively.
We are in the painful contractions that are giving way to a new chapter.
This is the way of transformation.
This is the way we birth the new.
And it carries all the elements of birth.
It reminds me of this quote I’ve always loved and leaned into:
“For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.” — Cynthia Occeli
Yes. This is the way of it.
If you are in the midst of great upheaval and change in your life, you are not alone.
May we trust the transformation, even when it asks everything of us.
May we trust what’s emerging on the other side of it.
Happy 11th, my beautiful girl. Through it all, I remain endlessly grateful that I get to be your mom.
Love you forever, and beyond.

When I’m working with my clients and teaching about intuition, I often use the analogy of your intuition being in the driver’s seat of your life.
Your intuition is, and always should be,
the driving force for your life.
Other parts are welcome, sure.
But they’re not allowed to drive.
The mind, the intellect, can absolutely have a seat. But in the back.
The mind is a good secretary, but a terrible driver.
This new era of life on the planet?
This is what it’s about.
The rise of intuition—
back to its rightful place at the centre of our lives.🎯
It’s one of the most important things you can tap into right now.
And when you choose to follow it…
your life will be transformed by it.

Waking up to a greater level of awareness doesn’t come from more thinking. The mind can perceive it, but the body is where it lands.
This is a journey of embodiment.
Out of the head.
Into the body.
Your body is the way.
