🎓 MEET OUR FACULTY: BEVERLEY AGBAKOBA-ONYEJIANYA
BOS Africa is proud to introduce our Founder and Academic Director, Beverley Agbakoba-Onyejianya.
Beverley is a Partner and Head of the Sports, Entertainment and Technology (SET) Practice, and a highly accomplished legal, regulatory, and compliance professional with over two decades of experience across Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She began her career in financial services regulation and compliance in the UK before building a distinguished practice spanning corporate and commercial law, governance, policy advisory, and dispute resolution.
She holds the distinction of being the first Nigerian female admitted to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) as a mediator, and is empanelled on leading domestic and international panels, including the Lagos Court of Arbitration, FIFA Mediation Panel, Sport Resolutions UK, the World Athletics Safeguarding Case Management Group, and the AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre, among others.
Her expertise spans Alternative Dispute Resolution, Entertainment Law, Employment Law, International Trade Law, Intellectual Property, and Start-Up and Technology Law. She is also a Notary Public of Nigeria and a SEC-registered compliance officer with deep experience across investment banking, brokerage, and fund management.
Beverley is a respected thought leader and trainer, having authored numerous publications and delivered hundreds of training sessions on governance, compliance, and sports and entertainment law. She is the immediate past Chair of the NBA-SBL Sports, Entertainment & Media Committee, and a 2022 honouree among the Most Influential People of African Descent.
Beyond her legal practice, Beverley is a self-described "lawyerpreneur" — founder of Business of Sports Institute Africa, Develop Your A Game, Ms Maxximum, the Lagos Tigers sports academy, and Gratia Fidelis Caritas (GFC), a social network for women. She is passionate about education, sports, and youth development.
Her vision, expertise, and leadership are the foundation on which BOS Africa is built.

Fatima Babangida Mohammed is a Nigerian polo player, sports entrepreneur. She is building a different conversation around the business of polo in Nigeria.
