šļøBaleba, Anderson, Wharton whoever it ends up being ā the next midfield signings HAVE to be pure quality. This is the last piece of the rebuild, and we canāt afford to mess it up.
INEOS already sorted the defence in year one, went heavy on attack in year two ā now itās time to fix the engine room. Midfield is everything. Get it wrong and the whole team crumbles, no matter how good your strikers or defenders are. Weāve wasted years buying ābig namesā who donāt fit or players with zero mentality for this club. That cycle needs to die right here.
Wharton looks the real deal, and Iāve got to admit, Elliot Anderson has impressed me too ā technical, hard-working, versatile. Thatās the type weāve been crying out for. No more one-injury-and-the-midfield-collapses situations.
Players like Ugarte,Casemiro and even Bruno & Mainoo i think are going to have to work hard this season to become part of the next season as INEOS gives the players two years if they donāt perform they are out. Midfield is the last piece of the rebuild, and we canāt afford to mess it up!
At the end of the day, itās simple: United need midfielders who can control games, protect the defence, link with the attack, and still have the legs to dominate transitions. The next summer has to be ruthless. No half measures. If we nail the midfield, everything Amorimās been building will finally click ā and United will look like a completely different team.

Manchester United currently sit 7th on the Premier League table with 18 points. If the team can find a bit of consistency in these next five fixtures, it would be a huge statement of progress.
The encouraging part is that weāre no longer losing games like before; a clear sign of massive improvement under Ruben Amorim.

āConor Gallagher could be an opportunity for United, but Atletico Madrid didnāt want to let him go in August. So letās see what happens in the January window.āā []

You can say whatever you want, but the only reason nobodyās talking about Florian Wirtz is because he plays for Liverpool, not Manchester United.
Letās be real ā Wirtz was supposed to be the missing piece. The record signing. The creative spark. Yet after 11 Premier League games⦠nothing. No goals, no assists, no impact. For Ā£116M, thatās wild.
If Å eÅ”ko or Mbeumo went 11 games without a single goal or assist after costing Ā£116M, every talk show, pundit, barber shop and paper in England would be tearing them apart daily. But since itās Liverpool, everyone suddenly finds the word āpatience.ā
Wirtz might still come good ā heās clearly talented ā but letās stop pretending this run of form is normal for a player who was hyped to be the next big thing.
If that was a United player, the headlines would be āFLOP OF THE SEASON,ā Amorim would be under fire, and rival fans would be writing essays about it. But because itās Slot and Liverpool, itās all about āadjusting to the league.ā
Right now, heās looking like a Ā£116M ghost. And if things donāt turn around soon, that price tagās going to haunt him all season.

No matter what people think about Ruben Amorim, moving on from Onana, Rashford, Garnacho, HĆøjlund, and Antony in one summer takes guts ā and respect.
Some of them were Ten Hagās ābigā signings. Huge money, huge hype, almost zero return. Amorim doesnāt care about price tags or egos ā if you donāt fit, youāre out. Thatās exactly the ruthlessness this club has needed for years.
United have cleared 20+ players since Amorim came in, and while only 4 new signings arrived this summer, itās quality > quantity. Heās cutting out the mistakes, not adding more.
Yeah, it stings to see Antony sold for a loss, HĆøjlund loaned out, Onana loaned out⦠but thatās Ā£100m+ worth of failures off the wage bill. Itās painful, but itās accountability.
This stage of the rebuild isnāt glamorous. Itās messy, frustrating, even ugly. But itās the reset weāve been crying for. Amorim is doing the dirty work others ignored.

I think Manchester United will go for two centre midfield players, probably in the summer. Elliot Anderson is the one who would be well positioned at the moment for Manchester United. []
