Pst. Samuel Isonguyo performed kick-off of Afaha Ikot Ebak inter-family final Unity Championship.
Pastor Isonuyo, the Registrar of Apostolic Bible College, represented by Comr Esther Akpan in the spirit of sportsmanship on the 19th January 2025, honoured an invitation to perform the official kick off of the Afaha Ikot Ebak inter-family Unity Championship. He presented medals and awards to the winners and awardees.
The match which took place at Methodist Primary School, Afaha Ikot Ebak saw Ikot Offiong Family and Ikot Ossom Family competing for the trophy.
The match was intense but in the end, Ikot Ossom Family emerged victorious with a 1-0 win!
As the donor of the cup, it was a privilege to do the kick-off and hand over the trophy to the winners.
Congratulations to the winners and kudos to both teams for an exciting match!

At the funeral service of late Queen Elizabeth, towards the end of the service, I was touched by the Archbishop's last words before the body was taken to the grave for burial.
He said: "Now let us remove all symbols of power from the coffin, so that our sister, Elizabeth can be committed to the grave as a simple Christian".
Immediately, the staff of office was removed, then the scepter, the crown followed and all valuables were removed.
The Queen was buried with NOTHING.
Notice that the Archbishop did not include "Queen" to her name at this point too.
Life is indeed vanity.
It is transient, and that teaches us humility. Humility in power, humility in relating with others, humility in our acquisition of wealth and humility in all our endeavours, because in the end, we will all go back with NOTHING.
We came empty and will go back empty.

I won't say much today than to thank God for his love, mercy and grace that has brought me this far. Thank you Lord for the better days ahead.
