Congratulations to Malcomines on winning the Emir of Kano Cup and Pop Cola on winning the Dangote cup.

The tournament was a thrilling display of skill, sportsmanship, and Nigerian pride. Kudos to the organizers and participants for making it a memorable event

The 2025 NPA Katsina International Polo Tournament kicks off powerfully today.
Teams from all over Nigeria have landed in Katsina for a display of equestrian excellence.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, a distinguished Trustee of the Nigerian Polo Association (NPA) and a dedicated member of the Kano Polo Club.

Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata was a revered figure in our sporting community and beyond, renowned not only for his unwavering support and commitment to the growth of polo in Nigeria but also for his exemplary leadership and integrity. His contributions over the years have greatly enriched the development of polo in Nigeria, inspiring countless players and enthusiasts alike.

Alhaji Dantata was a member of the esteemed Dantata family, known for their longstanding influence in commerce and philanthropy within Nigeria. His dedication to the promotion of sports, community development, and his philanthropic endeavors have left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

As we mourn his passing, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May Allah (SWT) grant his soul eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations.

We pray for strength and comfort for his loved ones during this difficult time.
