🚨Whatever happens, United will always be my home. ❤️
Three years ago, we said goodbye to Mason Greenwood.
Back then, I honestly thought, “This is the academy loss that will hit me the hardest.”
And maybe that’s why, no matter what unfolds with JJ Gabriel, I know I’ll be alright. ❤️
Because JJ is something special. Truly special.
With 26 goals in just 29 youth appearances, he’s made quite the mark.
He’s even earned the title of Manchester United’s youngest-ever Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year.
And let’s not forget that stunning hat-trick against Sabah in the UEFA Youth League.
You can just tell this kid has that extra spark.
Of course, I want him to stick around. I want to see him flourish at Old Trafford, putting on that iconic red shirt and one day making the Theatre of Dreams his own.
Hearing that he’s considering leaving to become a free agent stings.
But football has a lesson it keeps teaching us:
Players come and go, but Manchester United endures.
If JJ decides to stay, I’ll be over the moon.
If he chooses to leave, I’ll feel a twinge of disappointment.
But my faith in the academy won’t waver.
Because out there, another young dreamer is envisioning themselves in that Manchester United shirt.
Another kid is out there kicking a ball in the rain.
Another kid is glued to the TV, watching Old Trafford.
Another kid is waiting for their moment.
And one day, that kid might walk through Carrington and make us fall in love all over again.
That’s the magic of Manchester United.
We don’t just lose players; we keep nurturing dreams. ❤️
Whatever the outcome for JJ Gabriel, I’ll wish him nothing but success.
But Manchester United will always be here.
The academy will always be here.
The dream will always live on.
And the next star will surely come. 🔴❤️
