The Green Tax in Nigeria's 2025 Reform You Did Not See Coming.

If you thought the era of fuel price surprises in Nigeria was over, you should think again. While everyone is busy arguing over VAT rates and income tax on social media, a massive page document called the 2025 Nigeria Tax Reform Act is quietly moving the goal posts for every car owner, transporter, and business in the country.
This is not just a tweak to the rules. It is a high-stakes game of economic chess. Today, we are diving into the green surprise buried in the fine print that could change how much you pay at the pump.
The 5% Pump Surprise: What is it?
Under Section 55 of the New Tax Act (NTA) 2025, the government has introduced a new 5% surcharge on the retail price of specific fossil fuel products. If you are buying Petrol (PMS) or Diesel (AGO) produced or provided within Nigeria, this surcharge is now part of the equation.
Essentially, the cost of staying traditional with your fuel choice just got more expensive.
The Escape Route: CNG
The government is not just taking money; they are sending a very loud message. Section 55(2) explicitly exempts the following from this 5% hit:
1. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
2. LPG (Cooking Gas)
3. Renewable Energy, such as Solar and Wind power
The goal is clear. The "Decade of Gas" is no longer a slogan because it is now a financial necessity. If you switch to CNG, you save 5% immediately on tax alone, not to mention the lower pump price.
No Room for Oversight: Fines are Massive
For the fuel marketers and businesses involved, the era of "I forgot to file" is over. Section 24 mandates that returns for this surcharge must be filed by the 21st of every month.
If a company fails to remit this tax, the penalty is a staggering 10,000,000 Naira fine for just the first month of non-compliance, according to Section 101, NTAA. That is enough to wipe out the profit margin of many small-scale distributors in one go.

*9 DIFFERENT TYPES OF S*X IN MARRIAGE!!!!!*

1. RECONCILIATION S*X:- S*x is a most potent weapon for diluting and difusing misunderstanding in Marriage. PUNISHMENT S*X:- When I counsel couples, at times I hear spouses say "Since he did that, I decided to punish him by depriving him of s*x", or "since she refused me, I decided not to touch her again". That is as senseless as saying "since my child failed a Test, I punished him by withdrew him from school". It's foolishness. The wise thing to do is to give your spouse more s*x as punishment rather than depriving him or her. When your husband or wife misbehaves, correct them using s*x. That is the best punishment. Not slapping or fighting or public disgrace. Punishment s*x is very hot. 😷

4. MEMORABLE S*X:- This is a very special kind of s*x that you organise and plan for. Every couple must be doing this once in a while. Honeymoons should be organised at least once in a quarter (once in 3 months). If you have means, do it once a month. You book a hotel for say 3-7 days and retreat to help build your marriage. A kind of Intimacy Retreat. You mustn't go to hotel if you can't afford it. Just send the kids somewhere and make it memorable. Light Candles around and on the blue or green bulb. Use good perfume and the Angels will bear you witness.

5. QUICK SURPRISED S*X:- This is a s*x that married couples should do often to build their love life. One "Quickie" is stronger than 100 Love Charms from India or oshogbo. A Quickie is that very fast s*x that a couple does in ODD places or in ODD position. Usually one spouse surprises the other with it. You don't take formal permission quickies. You just start it just like that. MARRIAGES WITHOUT QUICKIES HAVE QUICK PROBLEMS AND BREAK QUICK. Spouses who don't believe in surprise s*x are analogue and expired. Quickies can be done in the car. Drive her to a corner and pretend as if the car didn't start. It can take place on kitchen sink or at the balcony or inside the swimming pool or in the garden.

6. EXERCISE S*X:- This type should happen frequently especially in the mornings. God did it that the male organ wakes up in the morning erect to greet it's Owner - the Wife. So as much as humanly possible, let every wife answer the morning greeting. *God's mercies are New Every Morning.* Great is His Faithfulness. Mercy and Faithfulness are co-joined twins.

7. ENCOURAGEMENT S*X:- You use this type of S*x to encourage your Spouse to do something or Not to do something. There are times he wants to do something that you think is not the best of decision, just come in the most seductive way and delay him. When he is exhausted after you have drilled him, speak softly and he will say "I didn't know that was what you were saying before, now I understand you".

8. REWARD S*X:- This is the type that you reward your spouse for achieving something unique or for exceeding expectations. Reward S*x is not just one round but extended over a period of time. Reward S*x is an open check to do whatever he or she loves. It's extra ordinary.

9. PROCREATION S*X:- This is s*x you do purely for pregnancy. When you need child, the best style is the one that gives the husband maximum pe*******on. Support your wife with pillow if you aren't a longman. But you must make sure it is as wet as wetness can be. S***m needs wetness to swim inside the womb. When he releases he must remain inside there for a few minutes. Don't pull fast....

*PDP should forget Southwest; it has nothing to campaign against Tinubu – Bode George*

A former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olabode George lamented that the party has nothing to campaign against the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the So Suth-West.

The PDP chieftain made this assertion on Friday while speaking on The Morning Show on Arise TV.

Although he did not directly mention Tinubu’s name in his remarks, he, however, alluded to the difficulty PDP will encounter in campaigning against the presidential candidate of APC if South-West is not given a national role in the party’s structure.

His words, “But how do I go on the campaign trip in the South-West and tell the people that look, we are ready and you must vote for our candidate? We must realise that the opposition party has its own presidential candidate from the South-West and he (Tinubu) will tell them (voters) I have the presidential ticket, what does the PDP have on its ticket for South-West?

“Let’s assume the south has the presidential ticket, vice presidential ticket and chairmanship position, how will our PDP brothers from the north take it? Will they be happy? All I am saying is to ensure justice and fairness and if they say they don’t want it, history will be on the side of the truth.

“And if at this age I can’t tell the truth, then what am I doing in politics? It is not a matter of forcing Ayu out. Remember, Ayu himself stated and I quote him: “If the presidential candidate emerges from the north, he will resign as the chairman of the party to allow the balancing”. We are simply just saying “let us be mindful and don’t let us overdrive this,” he said.

George’s concern comes on the heels of his backing for the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

According to him, Ayu’s resignation became imperative to ensure balance in the party. He argued that Ayu’s resignation will help PDP convince Nigerians as the right party to vote for during next year’s election.

He said the calls for Ayu’s resignation was in line with the constitution, saying the PDP chairman had himself promised to resign from his position if a northerner emerged as the party’s presidential candidate.

However, George reiterated that zoning is more important now than it was in 1998/1999.

The elder statesman, who noted that he had been part of the party’s system for a long time, said he knew what was right for the party.

He said, “In fact, the need to have zoning now is more important than in 1998/1999. Maybe some of these people don’t understand the concept that led to the thought processes of our founding fathers. Because it is an unwritten law it is up for debate and I hope we have the opportunity to put it down in writing and everybody will be able to read it.

“Those saying they don’t believe in it (zoning) and don’t want it are saying that because they don’t understand what brought about it but I am talking because I was part of the system from the very beginning and we have a saying from my part of the world that when you have old people in any association, they (old people) always make sure they correct the mistakes of the young ones and I am trying to refer us to that concept (zoning) that was established and brought about sanity to the nation.

“Now that we are trying to manoeuvre the concept that came from us to suit certain purposes and personal ambitions, it is going to drive us to the canvass and that is what I am saying.

“We are not asking Ayu that he should be zoned out or forced to resign. We are asking for this in the sense of oneness and inclusivity for him to throw in the towel and let us balance the top positions. We are going to campaign in my zone and we want our party to win. If it is not going to affect the party, I won’t bother,” he said.
