About Us – Zuma Academy Sports Club Maiduguri

Zuma Academy Sports Club Maiduguri is a grassroots football team based in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. Established to empower and nurture young talents, the club is home to passionate under-18 players determined to make a mark in the world of football.

In a city with little to no local support, our players rise above the odds, using football as a tool for change, unity, and opportunity. We are committed to inspiring the youth and building a brighter future through sports.

Our club is led by exceptional players, including:

Captain Shu’aibu Bako Alkali ( #10) – A fearless leader, known for his strength, pace, and leadership.

Vice Captain Zakariyya Tahir ( #9) – A deadly striker and intelligent goal-scorer.

Sadiq Muhammad Ola ( #17) – A midfield genius, vital in both assists and scoring.

Abubakar Chole ( #8) – A dynamic playmaker and goal machine.

Abubakar B.G (Bule) ( #16) – A defensive midfielder and team idol, full of energy and control.
