3 Important Things to Know When You Start Investing

I’m few months into my own 0 to $100K investing journey — and if you’re just starting out too, here are 3 things I think really matter:

1️⃣ Start Small, Stay Consistent
You don’t need thousands. Even $25 a month builds momentum and good habits.

2️⃣ Learn the Basics
Understand what a stock is, what an ETF is, and why dividends matter. You don’t need to be an expert, just curious.

3️⃣ Track Everything
Write it down, use a spreadsheet or app — it keeps you focused and motivated.

I’m still learning every week.
But these 3 steps have helped me the most.

That's $5,000 a month

The dividend income will likely increase at or above rate of inflation over time

The value of the portfolio would grow as well

Sadly, few understand this

Getting to that level of dividend income is a function of:

1. How much you invest every month
2. How long you invest for
3. Rate of return (dividend yield + dividend growth)
