😎 Here are some traits of a world class winger! Which position should I do next?⠀

🥅 The one I have on both Mane and Willian is be a goal threat! You need to be able to always be a threat and chip in with plenty of goals.⠀

🏃‍ One way that will help you do this is be really good at runs in behind. This is something that Mane is excellent at! This will allow you to get more chances to score.⠀
-⠀
⚽ Let's cover the obvious one and that is dribbling! You need to have exceptional dribbling ability. Be able to keep it close, or push it far, change directions quick, etc.⠀

1️ You also need to have the ability to beat players when in a one v one situation. This is a staple of any wingers game.⠀

✂️ One way you can do that is learn to cut inside effectively. This will help you mix things up and score more! Think of how much this helped Robben.⠀

⚔️ Crossing is such an underrated skill but it can be the difference between an okay player, and a world class one! All the world class wingers have exceptional crossing ability⠀

💨 So there is a reason I didn't just call this one speed and instead went for speed IQ. Yes, the quicker you are the better, but you can still be a great winger even if you're not the fastest if you're smart with your speed! Knowing when to burst, when to hold, how to use your body etc. How many fast players have we seen who were just average wingers? Yeah, it's not all about how fast you are. I watched a local football match in a school playground yesterday, as i sat down, i asked one of d boys what was d score ? he replied me with a smile, "they are leading us 0-3" and i said REALLY ! and you are not discouraged? DISCOURAGED? The boy asked me with a puzzled look. Why should i be discouraged? when d referee has not blown the final whistle. I have confidence with in the team and the team manager. Truly the match ended 5-4 in favour of the boy's team, he waved at me gently with a beautiful smile as he left.

I was amazed, mouth wide opened, such confidence and beautiful faith. As i got back home that night, this question kept coming back to me! Why should i be discouraged when the referee has not blown the final whistle? Life is like a game, why should i be discouraged when the Almighty God is my manager, why should you be discouraged when there is still life? why should you be discouraged when your final whistle has not sounded.

The truth is that many people blow the final whistle by themselves!

I challenge you to be e better Coach than you ever be, by seeking diverse way to teach football to your player at any level of play.

help them to be better that they meet you not only to win games for you

Teach basic of football and use right drills to help your player improve , allow them Express their creativity .

Use football terminology they understand and give the bigger picture

do your best to plant a seed trust and confidence with professional in them

always makes them feel special and treat them with respect

above all help them with their character and discipline with commitment to hard work and broad open mind

you are developing and building a leader not just a robotic soccer player.

I was hungry, and I had to work in the field; I survived hard times, played football barefooted, I did not have an education and many other things, but today with what I win thanks to football, I can help my people. I built schools, a stadium, we provide clothes, shoes, food for people who are in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people in a very poor region of Senegal which contributes to their family economy.

I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me.
That's what I call epitome of success.
