TAP FC honours Eno

Trans Amadi Professionals (TAP FC) on Saturday September 6th, 2025, celebrated with their captain Mr. Joseph Eno, popularly called 'The Big Joe', on his recent appointment as the chairman of Akwa United Football Club.

As part of activities to mark the occasion, Trans Amadi Professionals FC of Port Harcourt played a friendly football match against Firm Minds Sportif International FC of Uyo at the Uyo Township Stadium.

The friendly game was graced by the presence of the Akwa Ibom State Commissioners of Finance, Hon. Emem Almond Bob and Sports, Elder Paul Bassey.

After the game, there was a grand reception at Eno's Camp Gee Hotel and Resort, in Uyo, to formally commemorate with the newly appointed Akwa United FC executives.

TAP FC's former chairman, Mr. Oto-Obong Uwah, and present chairman, Mr. Saheed Ogunsanya, gave their good-will speeches while coach Pius Anyim of the Trans Amadi-based All-stars team presented an award to 'The Big Joe'.

The event was concluded with the handing over of TAP FC's captain armband from Mr. Eno to Mr. Amos Oloko (Enyimba).

Mr. Joseph Eno is a BoT member of both Trans Amadi Professionals FC and Firm Minds Sportif International FC of Uyo. He is also an Elder in the All Stars International executive of Akwa Ibom State.

The newly appointed Akwa United FC Chairman is ably assisted by his Vice Chairman, Pastor Ini Edoho, General Manager, Mr. Jimmy Joshua while Elder Omon Bassey serves as the club's Secretary.

JOSEPH ENO: TAP FC, Firm Minds Sportif honour Akwa United's new Chairman

Trans Amadi Professionals (TAP FC) will square up against Firm Mind Sportif International FC of Uyo on Saturday September 6th, 2025.

The encounter, slated for 10 am at the Uyo Township Stadium, is held to commemorate with TAP FC's former captain, Mr. Joseph Eno, popularly called 'The Big Joe', who was recently appointed as the new Chairman of Akwa United Football Club.

Before the game, the management of Total Energies Football Team will pay a courtesy visit to the board of Akwa United FC, headed by their former captain Mr. Eno at the club's Secretariat in Uyo by 8 am, to commemorate with him.

Mr. Joseph Eno is an astute entrepreneur and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of CampeGee Hotel and Resort, Uyo.

A graduate of Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 'The Big Joe' served Total Energies Company for 20 years as contract and procurement Manager in charge of Port Harcourt District, before he voluntarily retired from service.

Joseph was the Captain at Salvation Army Primary School Nsit Ubium, football captain at Saint Francis Secondary School, Ikot Ataku and Ojukwu Hall of University of Nigeria.

Between 2014-2022 he was the captain of Total Energies Nigeria and co-ordinated them to many local and international successes.

Mr. Eno is currently a BoT member of both TAP FC and Firm Minds Sporting All Stars International FC Uyo, an Elder in the All Stars International Executive Akwa Ibom State,

PRESS RELEASE

Unbeatable TAP FC defeats Mobile FC of Lagos

Trans Amadi Professionals (TAP) FC continued their unbeaten home run with an impressive 2-1 victory over Mobile FC of Lagos on Saturday June 28th at the First Aluminum Pitch in Port Harcourt.

Victor Chukwuemeka scored the opening goal for TAP FC through a well-taken free kick in the 23rd minute of the match.

Obiorah Okeke (BoT), who was voted as the game's Most Valuable Player, doubled TAP's lead in the 36th minute before Mobile FC scored a consolation goal midway into the second half.

Speaking after the match, the Chairman of TAP FC, Mr. Saheed Ogunsanya, who is also the captain of his team, attributed the club’s over ten years unbeaten home record to hard work and dedication.

Ogunsanya further revealed that TAP FC gives back to the less privileged in the society from time to time as well as furthering the careers of upcoming football talents.

On his part, the unbeaten coach of the Trans Amadi-based All-stars team, coach Pius Anyim clarified that his team has also been securing away victories. He however noted that they have resolved to make their home ground, the First Aluminum Pitch, also known as Stadium of Victory, a difficult place for visiting teams.

Meanwhile, Mobile FC promised to arrange a rematch with TAP FC in Lagos.

TAP FC hosts MOBILE FC of Lagos in Port Harcourt

Trans Amadi Professionals (TAP) FC of Port Harcourt will square up against MOBILE FC of Lagos State this Saturday June 28th at their home ground, First Aluminum Field, also known as, Stadium of Victory by 8am.

The players and management of MOBILE FC are expected to arrive in Port Harcourt on Thursday, June 26th, to prepare for the match.

TAP FC will host MOBILE FC on Friday night in Port Harcourt in a 'Welcome get-together party' for their Lagos State visitors.

Meanwhile, Chairman of TAP FC, Mr Saheed Ogunsanya, one of the top scorers of the team, has flown in from Europe to honour and be part of the game.

Also, TAP's goalkeeper, Bolu O., nick-named Fwood, who doubles as the Team Manager (TM), and the best goalkeeper in the oil industry, has already flown in from Europe and started training in preparation for the blockbuster encounter.

Trans Amadi Professionals FC remains unbeaten at the First Aluminum Pitch in Port Harcourt. The Trans Amadi-based All-stars team last defeated visiting Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Igho FC of Delta State 1-0 on Saturday, June 7th.

TAP FC Defeats Igho FC On Otowe's Birthday

Trans Amadi Professionals (TAP) FC extended their unbeaten run at the First Aluminum Pitch in Port Harcourt after defeating Igho FC of Delta State 1-0 on Saturday June 7th.

After a cagey goalless first half, Ibe Daniels of TAP FC capitalized on a long kick from his goalkeeper to score the winner in the 70th minute to seal another home victory for the Trans Amadi-based All-stars team.

The match was part of activities lined up to mark the 40th Birthday celebration of TAP FC's Christopher Otowe, who also featured in the second half.

Igho FC is a Nigeria National League (NNL) side based in Sapele, Delta State.

TAP FC also has a female team - TAP Queens, and a junior team - Junior Professionals.
