*Topic:ENTERING GOD'S REST*

_Text Scripture: Hebrews 4:9–11
[9]There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.

God has prepared a place of rest for His people. Rest begins when we stop struggling in our own strength and begin trusting God's ability.

You may have experienced prolonged battles, delays, disappointments, and unanswered questions, but your present struggle does not cancel God's promise of rest.

In our season of res, delayed prophecies will be activated. Delayed prayers will be answered. You will enjoy unlimited visitations and encounters from above for greater possibilities and blessings.

Happy New Month beloved.
I welcome you to the ninth month, which God has proclaimed for us to be our month of entering our season of rest on every side.

Every storm around your life, be still!
Every burden weighing you down is lifted!

*Topic: The Power of Thanksgiving*

_Text Scripture
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18._
*
*Exhortation**
As we end our journey on our competitive advantage, we want to look at the secret of giants-slayer-thanksgiving. When battles become tough, thank Him. This invites Him to take over the battles. When things aren't going the way you expected it to go, just thank Him because He knows exactly what to do to cause a turnaround.

Jesus demonstrated the power of thanksgiving before the multiplication of the five loaves and two fish. John 6:11 says, “And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples.” Thanksgiving preceded multiplication

Thanksgiving acknowledges God's goodness and prepares the way for greater blessings. A grateful heart attracts God's presence and keeps the focus on His faithfulness rather than life's challenges.

*A Thanksgiving Challenge*
Today, deliberately thank God for:
*What He has done.
*What He is doing.
*What He has protected you from.
*The people He has brought into your life.
*The lessons learned through difficult seasons.
*The doors He has opened.
*The doors He closed for your protection.
*The promises you are still waiting to see are fulfilled.

*Prayer Points*
*Lord, fill my heart with gratitude.
*Help me to thank You in every circumstance.
*Father, multiply everything good. You have placed it in my hands. Establish the work of my hands and cause my life to become a testimony of Your faithfulness.

*Prophetic Declaration:* *My Thanksgiving opens new doors of favour and breakthrough.
*My heart is filled with gratitude, joy, and praise.
*I will not allow temporary challenges to erase my memory of *God's faithfulness.
Every seed of thanksgiving in my life produces a harvest of joy and spiritual strength.

*Topic: Courage to Possess Your Inheritance*

**Text Scripture
“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.” — Joshua 1:6 (KJV)**

*_Scriptures Reading: Joshua 1:7–9; Deuteronomy 1:21; Numbers 13:30; Hebrews 10:35*_

**Exhortation*
There is a gap between thus said the Lord and stepping into it.God had already promised Israel the Promised Land, but a promise alone did not put them in possession of it. They needed courage to step into what God had prepared for them.

After Moses died, Joshua faced the enormous responsibility of leading Israel into their inheritance. God repeatedly told him, “Be strong and of a good courage.” Why? Because fear can make a person abandon what faith has made available.

There are things God has prepared for you that require courage to possess. Your inheritance may include spiritual growth, kingdom influence, divine opportunities, fruitful relationships, greater responsibility, financial stewardship, ministry impact, or other legitimate blessings consistent with God's will.

The enemy often uses fear to make God's people retreat at the very point where they should advance. Israel saw giants in Canaan and concluded that they were too small to possess the land. But Caleb had a different spirit. He said:
“Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” — Numbers 13:30
Courage does not mean that there are no giants. It means that you believe God's promise is greater than the giant standing before you.

*Prayer Points*
*Heavenly Father, thank You for every good thing You have prepared for me according to Your purpose.
*Deliver me from fear, intimidation, doubt, and hesitation.
*Give me the courage to step forward in faith and possess every legitimate inheritance You have ordained for my life.
*Strengthen my heart like Joshua and Caleb. Help me to see my challenges through the greatness of Your power In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

*Prophetic Declarations*
I am strong and courageous in the Lord.
Fear will not stop me from fulfilling God's purpose for my life.
I receive the courage to pursue every God-given opportunity.
I possess my inheritance through faith, wisdom, obedience, and perseverance in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

*Topic: *Spiritual Authority: Your Competitive Advantage*

*_Text Scripture: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” — Luke 10:19 (KJV)_**

*_ScriptureReading: Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 2:6; James 4:7; Acts 1:8_*

*Exhortation*
Every believer has one great advantage from God that gives us an edge in our spiritual walk, which is spiritual authority. Authority is the delegated right and power from God to stand in Christ's victory, to resist evil, enforce God's will, and advance His kingdom.

Jesus did not save you merely to become a spectator in spiritual matters. He has positioned you in Him and entrusted you with authority to rule on His behalf here on earth.

This authority is to make us act like Jesus' disciples, not putting our confidence in our personalities, education, social status, or physical strength.

Our advantage as Christ disciples of Christ is the authority delegated to us by Christ. Our authority comes from the following:
*Our Authority Comes From Christ: Matthew 28:18 declares that all authority in heaven and earth belongs to Jesus. Therefore, our spiritual authority is delegated authority. We operate under His name and according to His Word.
Your confidence should never be in yourself; it should be in the One who has authorized you.

*This Authority gives you the power to resist: James 4:7 says:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
You don't have to surrender to every temptation, fear, oppression, or deception. Submit to God and stand firmly in His truth.

*This Authority gives you the courage to face life's challenges and setbacks.
Understanding your position in Christ changes how you face opposition. You don't approach life's battles as a defeated person seeking victory; you stand in the victory Christ has already accomplished.

*This authority must be exercised. Authority that is never exercised produces little practical benefit. A police officer may possess legal authority, but that authority becomes effective when properly exercised within the law.
Likewise, believers must exercise spiritual authority through faith, prayer, obedience, God's Word, and the name of Jesus.

*This Authority gives you a Kingdom Advantage. Your spiritual authority gives you the confidence to pray, resist evil, proclaim the gospel, overcome fear, stand for righteousness, and serve others effectively.
You are not powerless in a world filled with challenges.

You carry the authority of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, don't live intimidated by circumstances. Walk humbly, boldly, and intelligently in the authority Christ has given you.

*Prayer Points*
Father, thank You for the authority You have given me through Jesus Christ. Help me to understand my position in Christ and exercise spiritual authority according to Your Word. Give me courage to resist evil, wisdom to discern spiritual matters, grace to walk in obedience, and power to advance Your kingdom.
Let my authority be expressed through love, holiness, truth, and service. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Prophetic Declarations*
I am seated with Christ in heavenly places.
I walk in the authority delegated to me by Jesus Christ.
I refuse to live intimidated by the works of darkness.
I receive grace to stand firmly upon God's Word.
I resist every temptation and deception that contradicts God's purpose.
I walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.
I exercise spiritual authority with humility, wisdom, and righteousness in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

*Topic: Your Temporary Defeats and Failures: Your Comparative Advantage*

*_Text Scripture: "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again..." — Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)_*

*Scriptures Reading: Micah 7:8; Romans 8:28; Philippians 3:13–14*

*Exhortation*
One enemy believers and unbelievers unlike dread greatly are setbacks temporal or permanent. One of the reasons these is so is because so many people feel uncomfortable with the sigmas and pains associated with them.

Imfact, it is very imperative for you to know that temporary defeats and failures are not the end of the story; they are most often God's classroom for preparing great men and women for His use. Many people see failure as a full stop, but God frequently uses it as a comma—a pause before a greater chapter.

Throughout Scripture, God uses setbacks to perfect imperfect people He uses. For example, Moses fled into the wilderness after killing an Egyptian, yet God later called him to deliver Israel. Peter denied Jesus three times, but after being restored by Christ, he became a bold preacher and a pillar of the early church. John Mark once abandoned Paul and Barnabas during a missionary journey, yet he matured into a trusted servant, and Paul later said, "Take Mark... for he is profitable to me for the ministry" (2 Timothy 4:11).

Temporary defeat(s) can teach lessons that success often cannot. It cultivates humility, perseverance, dependence on God, wisdom, compassion, and resilience. God does not waste the experiences of those who trust Him. When surrendered to Him, even painful setbacks can prepare you for greater effectiveness and maturity.

Do not allow yesterday's disappointments to define tomorrow's possibilities. Refuse to remain on the ground after a fall. Rise again through God's grace, learn from your mistakes, and continue pursuing His purpose. Your identity is found in Christ, not in your past failures.

Remember, the greatest failure is not falling—it is refusing to rise again.
Through God's mercy and strength, every setback can become a setup for a greater testimony.

*Prayer Points*
*Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning.
*I surrender every past failure, disappointment, and setback to You. *Teach me the lessons You want me to learn, strengthen me to rise again, and help me move forward with faith and courage.
*Turn every temporary defeat into a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Prophetic Declarations*
*I rise above every temporary defeat by the grace of God.
*My setbacks are becoming setups for greater victories.
*I refuse to be defined by my past failures.
*God's mercy gives me a fresh beginning every day.

*Topic: Sacrifice: Your Platform for Your Lifting*

*_Text Scripture: "Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice." — Psalm 50:5 (KJV)*_

*Exhortation*
One of your strategic competitive advantages in life and ministry is sacrifice. Throughout Scripture, one of the principal lifting forces is sacrifice. Whenever men and women willingly gave their best to God in obedience and faith, He is provoked to respond with unparalleled blessings, favour, and promotion.

Sacrifice is not an attempt to buy God's blessings; it is a demonstration of our love, trust, worship, and complete surrender to Him. Abraham offered Isaac, the son of promise, in obedience to God. Before the sacrifice was completed, God responded with a generational blessing. (Genesis 22:15–18). His willingness to surrender what was most precious to him became the platform for greater blessing.

David also understood the value of sacrifice when he declared, "Neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing" (2 Samuel 24:24). His costly sacrifice brought God's mercy and stopped the plague upon Israel.

The greatest example is Jesus Christ, whose sacrificial death on the cross brought salvation, reconciliation with God, and eternal life for all who believe. His sacrifice became the foundation of our redemption and victory.

Today, God calls believers to present themselves as living sacrifices—holy, surrendered, and available for His purposes. This sacrifice may involve your time in prayer, generous giving, wholehearted service, obedience, forgiveness, or surrendering personal ambitions to follow God's will. Such sacrifices are pleasing to Him and position your heart for His transforming work.
When your life is laid on God's altar, He has a way of lifting you in His appointed time.

*Prayer Points*
Heavenly Father, thank You for the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Help me to live a surrendered life that honours You.
Give me the grace to obey You wholeheartedly and to offer You my best in every area of my life. Let my worship, service, and obedience become a sweet aroma before You, and lift me according to Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Prophetic Declarations*
I receive grace to live a life of wholehearted surrender.
My obedience and faithful service will bring glory to God.
Every sacrifice made in faith will produce lasting spiritual fruit.
The Lord remembers my labour of love and rewards me according to His will in Jesus' name. Amen.

*Topic:The Benefits and the Price of the Anointing*

*_Text Scripture
“But the anointing that you received from him abides in you…” — 1 John 2:27
*
*Exhortation*
The anointing is the tangible and feelable presence of the Holy Spirit. It is God Himself resting upon a life so that ordinary people can do what only God can do.
It is not a vague feeling or a badge of spiritual status. For Jesus Himself to do the work the Father sent Him, had to be anointed. The early church walked in it. Believers today are still invited into it.

*Benefits of the Anointing*
The anointing brings real, measurable fruit:
Breakthrough and freedom. You can never be productive and bear fruits that will abide for the Kingdom.

The anointing equips us to serve, heal, encourage, and advance God’s kingdom with effectiveness beyond natural ability.

*Price of the Anointing*
As the benefits of the anointing are enormous, so also is the price to carrying and sustaining the anointing are:

*The Price of the Word*
The Word is the carrier of the anointing. The more of the Word of God in you, the more anointed you become.
“The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” — John 6:63.
As you meditate upon the Word, the word is converted into the power of God for the performance of His assignment.

*The Price of Fasting*
Fasting does not purchase the Holy Spirit, but it helps bring the flesh under control and intensifies spiritual sensitivity.
Jesus fasted before entering a significant phase of His earthly ministry (Matthew 4:1–2).
“This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” — Matthew 17:21
There are dimensions of spiritual authority that require deeper spiritual discipline.

*Prayer Points*
*Lord, create in me an insatiable hunger for Your Word.
*Open my understanding and make Your Word deeply rooted in my spirit.
* Let the Word shape my character, decisions, and ministry.
*Father, strengthen me in seasons of fasting and spiritual discipline.
*Let fasting produce greater sensitivity to Your voice, mastery over the flesh, and deeper fellowship with You.

*Prophetic Declarations*
I receive fresh passion for the Word of God.
I receive the grace for the discipline of fasting
My character shall grow alongside my anointing.

23/08/2026

*Dominion Lifestyle Daily*

*_Topic: The Benefits and the Price of the Anointing(1)_*

*Text: Isaiah 10:27
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.*

*Exhortation*
The anointing is a very vital competitive advantage that we dearly need to scale through the hurdles of life as children of God. To me, the anointing is our prime competitive advantage as a Christian.
Its benefits to our overall Christian living are multifaceted. One of its principal benefits to us as Christian is this: the anointing has the capacity to destroy any forms of yokes. Yokes are satanic inhibitors that hinder the advancement of so many lives. Yokes are limiting forces that incapacitate and inhibit the realisation of so many great potentials.

The anointing is free as a gift, but there is a price to carrying, sustaining, and increasing in the anointing. Salvation is by grace, but spiritual capacity is developed through consecration, obedience, sacrifice, prayer, fasting, study of the Word, and service.
“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned…” — 2 Timothy 3:14
*The Price of Consecration*
The anointing thrives on a consecrated vessel. God does not merely look for gifted people; He looks for clean vessels that can carry His power without corrupting it.
“Be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.” — Isaiah 52:11
The deeper the consecration, the greater the capacity for divine trust.
*The Price of Prayer*
Powerful people are usually praying people.
Jesus demonstrated this repeatedly. Before major manifestations of power and major decisions, He withdrew to pray.
“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness and prayed.” — Luke 5:16
Prayer is where spiritual oil is refreshed. A prayerless vessel may have yesterday's testimony but lack today's freshness.
If you want to walk in the anointing, build an altar of prayer.

*Prayer Points*
*Father, make me a vessel completely separated unto You.
*Purge my heart from everything that will contaminate the oil upon my life.
*Let my desires, motives, ambitions, and decisions come under Your Lordship, in Jesus' name.

*Prophetic Declarations*
*I declare that I am a vessel of honour, sanctified, and useful to the Master.
*I receive grace for deeper consecration and greater spiritual discipline.
*My prayer altar shall not die! My hunger for God shall not die!
*I receive fresh passion for the Word of God.
