COOPERATE OG’S FULFILLS HER CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Cooperate OG’s Football Club is a group of like-minded individuals united by a shared passion for sports, with a mission to promote social interaction and positively impact the community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

As part of its ongoing commitment to giving back, Cooperate OG’s Football Club recently visited Community Primary School, Rumurolu (Oro-Evo), led by the club chairman, Mr. Austin Edile.

During the visit, Mr. Edile encouraged the pupils to be upright, respectful, and to take their education seriously, noting that they are the future leaders of tomorrow. He emphasized that giving back to society is not just a gesture, but the very foundation of Cooperate OG’s Football Club. He also highlighted that their outreach extends beyond schools, including visits to elderly homes and orphanages.

The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Amadi Felicia, expressed deep appreciation to Cooperate OG’s for the donation of branded writing materials. She described the club as a unique organization, remarking that it was the first time a non-governmental body had ever brought such branded notebooks to the pupils. She also lamented the government’s lack of attention to the school’s dire needs, including poor infrastructure and a shortage of teachers, despite several written appeals to the Ministry of Education.

The outreach focused on pupils in Nursery 1–3 and Primary 1–4.

Also speaking during the event, Mr. Anderson, Patron of Cooperate OG’s Football Club, stressed the importance of unity and love among members. He thanked everyone who attended and contributed to making the day a memorable one.
